In case anyone's wondering, they're attempting to bring the 3ds and Wii-U boards together. And somebody screwed up a little. So it looks like we have no other choice than to play 3ds only now. The message is clear.

(For those of you who missed it)

Edit: Well they're entirely gone now. At this point I'm just waiting to see if I have to manually add all the prefixes again...

It's my first major tourney. I've been to my local scene about 10 times, but that's it when it comes to my personal tourney experience so far.

Finally played in an offline tourney and it was ok I guess. Got 9th out of 21, but I was playing ok at best. Then again, I haven't played in a while lol. Very different experience offline for sure, but it was good experience. Lost a close set to a decent Fox, beat two kids fairly easily, and then got killed by a Pika (that I suspected was going to happen), and which worked out b/c I had to leave for a movie anyways.

I definitely need to learn how to tech though. I know how it's technically done, but I guess I don't expect it that I need to do it until it's too late :/.

Why are you even convincing him to come back to the Link boards anyway? If he's content with the kind of people he's with at the moment, leave him be. It's better to just not beat on a dead horse in this case than have him cause more trouble.



On the other hand, I know I'm a bit late to this, but I saw the thing in the viability survey where Link is considered bottom 18. I know his frame data holds him back, but doesn't he have waaaay better results than in Brawl? I can't really see him as a low tier, but that's not really a subject I should be touching upon since I don't really play the character much anymore.

the way i see it is if Link is in bottom 20 in this game, then Smash 4 has some insane balance going on, at least that's what I tell myself whenever someone puts Mii Swordfighter at Bottom 10

Yeah but in brawl he was bottom 4. IMO Link can win because SSB4 has much better balance than Brawl so bottom 20 isn't terrible. It seems like he might move up a little but I'm not sure who above him deserves to be moved down.

I used to have a ball python and a couple of green anoles. I hope to get one of these guys soon (a cuban knight anole). They're friendlier than they look, or so I heard (unless they're wild caught, they can get pretty nasty then).

Here's a nice vid of one in action. It shows just how big they can get lol. They're big, but still manageable which one reason why I like them (the other being that they look cool af). I heard they also live here in Florida, but personally I've never seen one.

You can get it on a memory card the same way you can get 20XXTE and share it in the same fashion.

If you want the full version, you just need to patch a vanilla Melee ISO and play through Nintendont.

Really? it's seem not less assessable than Project M.

I myself am very much considering getting it, particular after seen the buffs they have given Young Link (though i do wish they'd buff his Air Up B and air+ground Mobility)

Project M is a mod of Brawl, I'm pretty sure Brawl and Melee are not in similar circumstances competitively.

But the fact is that characters have had changes and it is a game made for tournament play. Yet SD remix is similar and it isn't used competitively.

Which Sonic game do you guys think is dumber, Secret Rings or Black Knight? I'm weird as I actually like Secret Rings. I got into it, getting the best custom skill rings and doing the challenge missions. It behaves more like building and driving a car than a sonic game.
Black Knight was worse since I wore my arm out swinging the dumb sword. A few levels were cool but it felt like secret rings without the depth and an unnecessary sword mechanic shoe-horned in.

Adventure and Adventure 2 - simply for the voice acting and sound bites that gave me a nonstop headache. My God, those were the games that made me realize the difference between good and bad voice acting/sound engineering.
And don't even get me started on Big the Cat in Adventure 1 or Tails' robot in Adventure 2. Oy.

man I've been so sucked into Destiny and Metal Gear Solid V recently. I need to keep in touch here and actually play more smash...oops.

I'm pretty sure his air speed is as fine as is, given him and adult Link were already top 10 in air speed even in Vanilla Melee, with pretty good SHFFLs to complement it.

Not only that, but his mobility in general is fine imo. Just look at all the stuff Axe does with Young Link lol.

MGSV is amazing, the only games I see being contenders to it this year are Fallout 4 and Witcher 3.

I play Destiny the other day, and I must say is pretty addictive...

On another note, hi Links i don't talk to much here, but decided to do more talk instead of
all the lurking that a i do to learn all the good info that have this part of the forum.
I'm still learning tho! xD
