You know, a little while ago I wasn't doing so hot. I thought I wasted the past 12 years of my life on boy scouts to no reward. I thought my parents hated me and I was near suicidal.

But, *cue Dumbledore doing the candle shenanigan from Prisoner of Azkaban* even good things can come from bad situations.

Three days ago, I became an Eagle Scout. I turn 18 in 3 more days, and I have a job that I love at a movie theatre.

How y'all doin'?

Cool! What does an Eagle Scout do?

Eagle scout is the highest achievement in the boy scouts organization and is the only recognized achievement after you turn 18. It also leads to scholarships and goes on your resume.

If you have a job app and a guy has nearly the same credentials as you, maybe a bit better, eagle will trump that.

That's amazing. Looked up a bit on Wikipedia and I didn't know being a Boy Scout could open up so many options. Advanced ranks in the military and scholarships? Wow!
Also, tell me more about what you do in the theatre. I wonder what they do there besides selling the food and tickets O_o.

I always was jealous of boy scout... you know that feeling of actually doing something "cool" that gets you involved with people of your age but sadly my "social status" ( poor when I was a kid) didnt let me .

Ok so there's two jobs I do at the theatre: Ushering or Concessionist. Concessionist: I sell food. That's it.

Ushering: I rip tickets, clean theatre, kick people out when necessary, and close the building if I'm the closing usher.
