April 25 is the probable date. We have a huge venue, the Siebel Center! Please, if you plan on attending/have been invited to this tourny, spread the word to your friends. Housing may be provided for travelers (this will be discussed at a later date).
RULES:
Entry fee will be $10 for singles, $20 for doubles (per team). Venue fee is also possible.
Prizes are:
1st Place: 60%
2nd Place: 30%
3rd Place: 10%
No modded controllers.
No cheating.
No johns.
No MK. (j/k) XD
Excessive stalling (MK cape stall, sonic under stage stall etc) is grounds for a forfeit of the game.
Infinite cape (MK) is banned.
D3 standing infinite is BANNED (Wall infinites ok)
Ice Climbers infinite is NOT BANNED
Typical tournament rules:
Player picks ONE stage ban. Ban must be picked BEFORE THE START OF THE FIRST GAME.
Double blind character picks.
Random neutral stage chosen initially unless one stage is agreed upon by both players/teams.
Loser of the previous match picks a stage, THEN the winner of the previous match picks their character FIRST.
Matches are best 2/3 with the finals being 3/5.
This is a double elimination bracket.
