I've been trying to get it w/ wings, and I ledgesnap every time. All I can think of is somehow holding down to prevent the ledgesnap while moving up w/ wings. I dunno how that would work though.

Yeah I've been trying it, but I just head straight for the ledge. I tried with both gliding and WoI.

you can also ledge cancel the wings into edge hog on battlefield

Atm we are trying to do the weird ledge cancel. The other one can be done on any ledge.
