Smash Champion
I browsed the Olimar stickies quickly to see if anyone has encountered something like this before, but I didn't run into anything similar. I could've missed it, though.
Anyway, today I was messing around with Olimar in the waiting room, and something strange happeend.
My Pikmin weren't responding.
I had five Pikmin, a blue, two whites and two reds.
I would try to use all my smashes, aerials and grabs, but my Pikmin wouldn't respond. They were just standing there waiting. I did manage to do a down smash, though. Strangely enough, only one Pikmin, the one that would hit in front of Olimar, would respond.
After using the whistle, I could use...
4 forward smashes
4 up smashes before
2 down smashes
4 forward aerials
4 up aerials
4 down aerials
4 back aerials
4 grabs
4 latches
... before the glitch happening. Those numbers were average, but sometimes it was more, and sometimes it was less. It varied between 0-5. Sometimes the glitch even happened right away. It seems the glitch usually happens after four Pikmin are called into duty,though. Strangely enough, I could always use my chain.
After experimenting, I tried to pluck a sixth Pikmin, but I couldn't. I started throwing my Pikmin off the edge, and I plucked more. I could only pluck five. I then tried the glitch, and it worked. I wish I knew how to re-create this.
Anyway, I'm still in the waiting room right now, so if you want me to try anything, I'll try it. I could record, but I don't have any good recording equipment, so it won't be anywhere near adequate quality.
I will die later, to see if the glitch continues after death.

It never happened to me and I never come to these boards because I don't like most of the people here. ;_; So how should I have known? ^^;
