First of all 2 things:

1) If I didn't discover this shoot me, I spent all after noon, after returning home today, testing this out.
2) If you want to move this thread to the "Easy Ways to Laser Lock Thread", do so.

Alright so today I was screwing with Falco again, and on Battlefield I witnessed the new possible counter to platform campers. I don't want to give it a name because it is not a fancy technique.

So this works under the following conditions:
Platform + Laser.
Enemy must be at the edge of the platform, or really close.

NOTE ALL CHARACTERS LAND FACE-UP

Simply Short Hop, Laser them once off the platform, wait for the bounce, and pewpew away!
(You can snipe start this Falco's position only affects how long the Laser-Lock lasts.)

Now I made a rough list on all the legal stages that this DOES NOT work on [Not including Flat Stages] :

Lylat
Delfino (I didn't get to check every platform in his stage, but I think they are too high anyway)
Yoshi's (Only possible to do this if the platform is completely flat)
Rainbow (Good luck finding time to do this, it's actually possible here though)
Brinstar

Now Here is a rougher list of characters that it DOES NOT work on:

Simply Because They aren't Laser Lock-able
Mario
Luigi
ZSS
Fox
Pikachu
Falco
Ike (Oddly enough if you shoot Ike while he holds up a shield it's possible to laser lock him for a longer than usual time.)
Peach
Sonic
Toon Link
Lucas

These Characters can Air Dodge before they hit the floor:
Kirby
Samus
Jigglypuff

Quick notes:

If the enemy happens to hold up a shield it gives you more time to get ready for the Laser Lock. Not that you need it...

Several Characters can tech the floor before they land, and I didn't test these simply because I feel it's the responsibility of the other people to find out if it's escape able. A smart Falco shouldn't reveal all his secrets. :p

Battle Ship Halberd allows you to Laser Lock characters you other wise wouldn't be able to laser lock as long as you are in the "Groove part/ in the middle"

If anyone wants to make a video I'll post it up here.

Well I dont know about the falco board, but I do know this already. It's really situational and most of the time you won't have enough time to do this. And if im correct, every character can tech when he falls

Yeah, as long as this is what I think it is, any character can tech it.
