Well, me and my band have been in the process of recording our demo for a while now, and after over a month of recording and mixing, it is complete. The band is Lör, the genre is epic metal. I am the drummer. Palpi is the singer. We would love for you to give us a listen and any kind of feedback. Tell us what you think!

The demo is five tracks long, running at 29 minutes. The myspace only has one song up for now (our favorite).

It sounds like you drawn inspiration from the likes of Blind Guardian, Kamelot and perhaps Hammerfall. (just a guess, not sure if I'm right). Some critiques....

- Your singer sounds like he's a bit self aware or nervous, he should work on that

- It is hard to understand what your singer is saying, mostly because the music covers up his singing

Some suggestions:

- Have your singer take some lessons in his spare time, it will improve the over all quality of your song

- Make sure that your singer can be heard and isn't covered up by the music

Other than that, ****, good job!

Thats pretty much my exact sentiments. His voice just didnt really suit the music the way it is now.

Funny thing is I've told our singer the exact same thing (about him sounding very self-aware).
It makes me very happy that our music makes you think Blind Guardian/Kamelot/etc, because we all love those bands.

As for downloading the rest of the demo, send us an email at halloflor@hotmail.com and someone will send you the rest of it. I think that's how we agreed on doing it, haha.

Haha yeah. For singing I was a lot more nervous the first day I recorded vocals. I think I sounded better on the 2nd or third day. Partial john incoming, I threw up the day I recorded from food poisoning so I was nervous about sounding good then etc etc. Thanks for the feedback.

Yea, I really like Edge of Eternity. It's kinda got that creepy thing going on in the beginning and It kinda has some celtic sounding melodies.
