Minish Cap is an excellent game. I agree on its underratedness. OoT at FIFTH in the series? ****.
Fierce Deity Link luckily has no impact until after the game is cleared, except on the final boss. Majora is still relatively easy without the FD Mask, though.
Yeah dude, I have OoT at 5th.
I think most people will say I'm crazy, but whatever, it's an opinion.
If you forget about the sailing part, (even though you can't get around it), you realize how much more amazing Wind Waker is. I get very disappointed when I find out people don't give WW a chance because of the art style. I think the series needed the change at the time. The story is epic and though none of the bosses were really that challenging, it was just much more fun than OoT was.
A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game and I remember playing it on the SNES and going through multiple playthroughs of the game through the years. I probably put it at second because I love it so much so I'm very biased by putting it at second. It still think it's much more fun than OoT. On an epic level, I think they're probably at the same level... probably.
It's a shame that Majora's Mask will always live in OoT's shadow. Majora's Mask is MUCH more difficult than OoT and even to this day I have a difficult time with some of the puzzles and collecting all the Heart Pieces even though I know where they all are. I enjoyed the fact that the story was so dark compared to all the other Zelda games, I really think they need to do something like that again.
Also... Fierce Diety needs to be in Smash (Not in Trophy form) XDDD
Minish Cap... instead of writing some stupid long explanation, I'll just say this.
Come on!!!
I place OoT 5th, because even as a child when I first played the game I didn't find the puzzles that difficult and story wise, I felt like I was almost playing ALttP again. Yeah, I loved it so much at the time because it was the first 3D Zelda but as the years have gone by, there have been better games, with better stories and more challenging quest. You guys have no idea how much I hate going through Hyrule Field in the beginning of the game... even though it's less than a minute, I ****ing hate it!!
