Ike is easy to gimp with Stone, or for his Side B, a well timed edgehog (you failed at it first try, but you got it second time)
Uair is a more reliable followup from fthrow than fair is
That Ike wasn't amazing, but that throw "combo" he did at 3:17 was pretty epic XD
Watch out when using Final Cutter onstage, it is RIDICULOUSLY punishable
You rolldodged into his upsmash spam...bad
I'm so jealous of you being able to play someone offline
Edgehog at 4:49 would have worked if you had rolled onstage (you had over 100% damage so it would have lasted longer than his Aether, and therefore would have been easy to do)
Get into the habit of pummeling at least once when you grab, it is very helpful
Ike's play was very obvious, and you punished him for it. You were a little repetitive at times, but it worked on him.
Keep in mind if you were facing a "top" Ike:
1. he would camp fairs/nairs, Final Cutter is your best option against this
2. your missed Inhales would be punished by ftilt or something else
3. spotdodging against Ike usually gets you hit by his vicious jab, and rolldodging into Ike usually gets you fsmashed XD you learned that I think at the end?
I play both Kirby and Ike so I know the matchup pretty well, especially since I play against Ikes all the time. Kirby might have a small advantage, but it's pretty annoying to fight good Ikes with his freaking jab and aerial camping -.-
Good job though, your Kirby is very good, and your play actually reminds me of myself quite a bit. You sure did make good use of fsmash, lol
