The only person that actually broke a rule was maharba.Who got another infraction. Rofl, good ol' maharba. I love ur no restraint.

Anyways guys, chill out. I've tried to mitigate these issues for a while and it worked for a while but it always starts again. Stand by for a decision as i seek advice from the higher-ups.

Every post of the last few pages, even the ones with no humour at all, have been hilarious to read (except all of APs posts, naturally.)

Never in my life have I known someone more infuriating, And as damix/loz can confirm, That really takes something.
I have a rough idea who you may be referring to ;)

Super serious doubles friendlies the other day was awesome, you know you're doing something right when you're surviving to 200% with 3 lives and everyone else is on their last life.

SO CHANGE OF SUBJECT! How about a new Pit main?

I started using him after playing with Earth at Sunrise, seeing how well mindgames can fit into Pit's metagame just like Sonic's thrived on for years. Not to mention the freedom in mobility. That and I had finally played Kid Icarus Uprising. I'm more known for my Sonic, but I've been using Pit in tournament since last month, so I'm fresh to the character. I think I'm catching on alright though.

Working on implementing a new technique into my game to chase after off-stage opponents/get the BAir kill. Lots of possibilities here.

I still play Sonic, but I intend to make Pit an equal co-main or who knows? Make Sonic a secondary. Either way, salutations!

hi kuraudo.

Yup! I went with three of my friends here in the Smash community during SRT. I can't say I did "well" in terms of top placings, but I was the only Canadian to qualify for pro bracket after making 5th in my pools. Top 6 made it out of a 13 man pool that was best of one, almost qualified for as far as 3rd seed. I think I got...60-something out of 200+ people? I feel accomplished for it, though I definitely have a ways to go again. The experience itself though was fantastic, and getting to play so many people was awesome! Especially the one on one time with Earth that helped cement me into playing Pit. I've got a couple of videos from the past monthly I went to I can post up later to show my progress.

First of all, welcome the pit crew.

Second, I love your avatar.
Firstly, thanks.

Secondly, I'm a Type-Moon nut and Saber's awesome. Thanks! I'm actually on an icon-making spree right now for Saber.

How was Earth's Pit? What did you learn/get out of playing him? Anything that you saw that was useful that American Pit's don't utilize enough?

Admittedly I haven't watched too many Pit videos yet, but what I really liked was his use of arrows. Not in the looping sense, but in holding them, tricking you, firing one off, list goes on. My favorite though is how he'll just dance around you and do nothing, wait for the jump, jump over you and hit you with the BAir for the kill.

I plan on using Up + B to chase after someone to hit a BAir, reversing my momentum so it doesn't come out as a FAir instead. Again, don't know who uses what, but since you get your jumps back and a shorter time of a second Up+B when you do it right I thought it'd work.

Other then that? His Pit is out of this world. Definitely the best one.

eh? when was that? Also you always live for forever in doubles. I have to make sure i concentrate solely on you and not leave you to whoever im teaming with at the time (i.e:scott) because i'll find that youve not taken any damage at all XD

So watching m2k vs me and then m2k vs earth I can see that earth was more on point with punishes which is key in fighting mk. I also went in the air too much and mk ***** in the air. But I also noticed that Earth stays level headed when he plays and I was too nervous having to play m2k on stream and it was my first time playing him so I messed up a lot. M2K also seemed to not try to juggle Earth as much as he did me with uair pressure, he went for shuttle loops a lot more often and got punished for them.

For comparison look at 7:12 on this stream to see me vs m2k http://www.twitch.tv/vgbootcamp/b/314979503

Earth vs m2k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTPxKioXE08

M2k also doesn't play the matchup quite well which lead to earth's victory. He let his guard down a lot resulting in getting killed by bair, dair, etc

another reason earth was level headed and you weren't is because japan wasn't in america when jason was the ruler of smash for nearly 2 years and the name Mew2King doesn't carry the same emphasis to him as it does to us.

At Kyoshi's, saturday, me, Luigimitsu, Sinth, Sol64 and some scrub called Kasper was playing :)

I was actually playing better than usual for the most part, using wings more, wing refresh --> follow-ups offstage/in the air, more comfortable with things like turn around grab (used to always dash grab, and get punished hard) even arrow use and control was better. Need to replicate in tournament or it means very little.

That's because I'm Pit, I plank for years, go in with heavenly blades and DI everything like a god (angel) :awesome:

Oh cool, shame I had life things to deal with >.<

And you'll think that, And then you'll play me again and I'll spend all day outranging you and killing you at 110% while you kill me at 200%
I swear, playing ike vs. anyone not named marth, olimar and MK feeling like the brawl equivalent of holding a dwarf at arms length while kicking him in the nuts

2. don't act like you mean something here. what have you done for these boards besides be bad and contribute to horrible social topics? i helped pioneer a character in this game, you ever so poorly copy and at an unholy slow rate learn from my days of research and trial and error testing as well as my frame testing and brainstorming.
And yet you still suck even worse than me. that really takes some going :B

believe it or not, even if he is bad, he still contributed more to Pit than the people here who supposedly picked him up and just post in our social thread
