hey does anyone know the percentages you can ko someone with: down tilt, bair, dair, down smash, and full power charge beam, respectively? I mean, I don't need every character I just want to know the average knockback... its really difficult to get the ko with samus I find... sometimes I can hit a dtilt and super missile at the same time if I'm lucky.... but usually it will take me around 130% to have to option to ko...

I know that you aren't asking the KO percent for each character. That would become tedious. I think the best thing to do is consider the "Weight Class." We may categorize this into three parts: heavy, middle, and light. For example, you could try to figure out how much it will take to defeat King DeDeDe and average it out with the other heavy characters. You could compare King DeDeDe's weight to Donkey Kong's. Let's assume for a moment that it will take +180% to take down King DeDeDe with Samus' d-tilt. If Donkey Kong is lighter than King DeDeDe, but is in the heavy weight class, you could probably take out Donkey Kong at +150%.

Definitely, weight class is an awesome idea ^^ Knowing the respective percentages of each would help me loads <heart>

This is how my mind works with Pit's f-smash. I know that when my opponent is in the 90%-100% range, Pit's f-smash has KO potential.

HA, 90-100%
That's unheard of on the Samus boards.

I think 100% kills are only possible on fully fresh, off the edge, sweetspotted bairs.
I generally wait til 140%: i think that's the magic number. From then I switch up my style a little bit to fit in an fsmash, chargeshot, or dtilt. I like to use bombs to set up the dtilt..

Honestly someone should compile a list of KO percents against every character (with proper DI and what not). I think spaceballs had something earlier, in order to show elemental "super effective" stuff, but I don't know where that is. Maybe after exams I'll waste an hour or two for ya'll and make it, if I can get it stickied.

Hey thanx! ^^ can't tell you how much that would help! I'll try to find some of the percents later on too, if they're not already up....

Light characters... D tilt around 120, same with charge shot near the middle. Forward smash might work too.
Mid weight, I wait till about 130-140.
And then heavy, I wait till 150-160.

It's not really that bad.. you can always zair spam to death.

And if you ever find the person around 200, back throw near edge or tipper a zair.
Always fun killing with that.

Mafia's list is sorta correct. All you really need to do is "memorize" each character's weight listing compared to Mario. There's a list stickied somewhere on smashboards. Mario's magic number is 135. Just keep adding on damage depending on how much heavier they are. If they're lighter, you can try KOing sooner. By 100% damage, I start forcing my opponent towards the edge with missiles and zair. It gets them nervous and may help me get an earlier kill.

I don't know if you misread what I wrote. When I play as Pit, his f-smash has KO potential around 90%-100%. Samus is a different story. Pit doesn't have the strongest attacks, to be honest.

Nope, didn't misunderstand.
Was trying to make a joke.

I meant that it is unheard of to hear something about KOing at 90-100 with Samus.

Like, you won't find many threads that have something along the lines of, CHARGE SHOT KILLS AT 90
