Kingdom Hearts?

I recently found out from Wikipedia that Tetsuya Nomura was involved with the development of SSBB some how. Did anyone else hear about this and knew what that role was?

Also, what makes Kingdom Hearts so popular anyways? It's been dwelling on my mind ever since I had started thinking about him.
Figured he must have been popular for him to make it onto Sakurai's character poll. *wink, wink, Sora*

And when will the sequalization of Kingdom Hearts end? It's cool and all. But I'm afraid then might stretch the story a bit and make it stale.

The last question is: Is destiny islands based off of any where on the real world in particular? Could it be Japan itself, or somewhere farther along the Pacific?
Or maybe somewhere else I haven't mentioned?

The only game I have played in KH is Kingdom Hearts II.

1:I have no idea but he is also credited with working on Mario Galaxy so he may be a character designer. With the exception of KH that's what he usually does. This may also be his role in which may mean Sora somehow managed to sneak his way in Brawl. Or it could mean nothing.

2:KH is popular because it's a combination of two of the most popular franchises around. It would defy the laws of the universe if it wasn't.

3:The sequels for KH will end when Tetsuya doesn't want to make them anymore. With BBS the story doesn't even involve the 3 main characters so the series could ,in theory, continue forever. They can just continue to make spin offs and sequels.

4:No, destiny islands is not a real world location. Although there are "real world" locations in the game they are in a completely different context. That's why you can't sail from Africa in Tarzans world to London in Peter Pans world.

I believe this coulld explain why Pit looks a bit like Sora.

they don't have the same color hair. Pits is more like reddish, sora's is light brown. Sora's hair is different if you say they're the same because they have spiky hair, do you know how many thousands of anime characters have spiky hair like that? and pit has a much rounder face. THey aren't the same.
