Even though I would Suck at this, but I would go for the Melee tournament. I want to have the experience of playing in a Melee tournament since I have never been to one and played it competitivly. I would pretty much go there for the friendlies. :)

What's the problem with forfeiting to M2K when we already left the venue and I had no chance of taking two sets to win the tournament?

Here's exactly what happened.

I beat Yes! in losers semis and then WoZ ran out of time and we had to leave.

I asked WoZ if I could play out losers finals with Atomsk when we got back to my place. Both WoZ and Atomsk agreed to this.

We got back to my place and Atomsk and I played losers finals with Mew2King and MasterDaveNo1 there. I won.

Instead of wasting time losing to Mew2King in a tournament set not even at a tournament, we played friendlies and teams stuff for many hours.

Here's the problem right there. Just win and it isn't a waste of time.

Also, I have yet to be to a tournament that was forced to leave. I have almost been in one of those, but luckily we finished in time.

Next time, if we do have time until the grand finals, I'll hold onto the money or something until I see a clear winner between the two players, unless there's a good reason to forfeit.

Forfeiting to split = unacceptable!

lol @ taking two sets from Mew2King in a row

99.9% of players can't take a match, let alone a set.

As in they wouldn't take him to the tournament if he didn't agree to split.

They gayed him but M2K still got to go and get money so it's aight.

Step your game up.

Also, you pretty much **** all over everyone you beat on your way to the finals by simply forfeiting.

Also, lol at the using M2K (more like ATM, amirite?) as a cash cow. That's low, bro.

Slowbro.

That tournament had a payout of $250 for first place and nothing for any other players.

Who would enter with Mew2King there if that was the case? Nobody with a brain. Who would voluntarily take him there? Nobody with a brain.

I have expenses and needed some cash. Oh well. I'm sure Jason understands because he ended up splitting.

Don't worry. When we get to the Wizard, I'll get my brain, and you can ask him for some courage.

Yeah, when I need money I just go to my job, draw some stuff, then get paid (a lot).

The east coast has no burning passion or fighting spirit. I can see why you're drills have yet to pierce the heavens.

You just got burned.

don't include me in that, I always want to beat people and for the past year I really don't like splitting, it's usually either 1) I don't have a choice 2) they will get mad if I don't split.

I split with Azen by my own choice since I like and respect him a lot and we are of similar skill, him as an overall player and me as a specialist w/ 1 or 2 chars, but even in cases like these where it's my own choice it's almost never something I actually WANT to do, I just feel I HAVE to, or else I'm the "bad guy"

Stop relying on other people to get to other places. How old are you?

Take a train or a bus like a man so you don't get blackmailed into doing something you don't want.

Actually, you have it backwards.

Anyone that splits is a bitch, no question about it. Splitting is easily the wussiest thing about the East Coast. Nobody has the balls to risk anything.

That's right, I'm calling you out East Coast. Grow some balls. Even pocket Aces lose occasionally (9,10 suited is actually a soft counter to pocket rockets).

Also, people get mad at almost everything I do because people--and this is key now--are stupid and have no objectivity. So just do whatever you want. You can be as nice as you can to people, they'll still be dumbasses.

Class dismissed.
