OK, I am going to be in a biweekly in about 2 hours and i just want to see if there is any last minute advice that anyone wants to give me on my play or any of the people that ill be playing against.

the best people in my area play

Pikachu (this is like the best pika you will ever see, BTW)
Snake and MK (duh)
Lucario
Falco
ROB
and maybe
Ness
DK
and Marth

I will be CP ing corneria every chance i get and brinstar/PS1 against characters with a wall or fin-gay

any (serious) advice will be greatly apreciated.

stay in front of DK (if he's on the ground, be ready to pshield tilts or dodge grabs), but it's really one of his weakest areas when he's in the air.

vs DK, dont ever roll dodge behind him.

even if it works, youll still die somehow. I really cant believe it, watching tourney videos where so many people will lose 3/3 stocks by rolling right into a dsmash

Good Pika players will keep pressuring you with neutral b and when you get near of them they DSmash/FSmash/Down B/etc... So, Spin Charge/Dash will be hard to use as an aproach, use Spinshot instead. Shield/Powershield/SDCancel Grabs will be your best options when you are near the rat... If you powershield something (not the DSmash) do a ftilt, when he rolls behind you, use an DSmash. Bair and Fair as surprise attack but after one of them be careful 'cause if you try to combo Pika on air you'll get Dair'd on your face...
Gimping a Pikachu is not an effective option... Is very difficult. Quick attack is super fast and Dair/HA/Spring probably will miss... You have to kill him with FSmash or Bair. Keep that in mind.

thanks for the help guys, i got 5th in the tourney but unfortunately i got beat my the pika.
no joke man this kid is amazing. he says anther is slightly better than him, but i seriously disagree.
he pressures hard with f-air and uptilt, hes just too good really. unfortunately he still loses to a run of the mill snake.
i also got beat by the resident MK in Rochester. hes good too, unfortunately they both lost to the resident snake in our area, because neither of them can overcome the grenade camping
the DK/Falco player in Roc. pussed out and played ROB/MK. his MK beat my sonic, duh. but i wrecked him with Lucario
so i feel decently that i got 5th place and that i only lost to the guys that got 2nd and third but i still wanted to place in the top 3 today, seeing as thats the only way i would have gotten any video recorded. so thanks for the help
