the work in highschool is a bit of a joke. and i dont mind being in school, i actually really enjoy it. however, those few moments between 5:30 and 5:33 when i wake up and walk to my bathroom to bath, are the worst ones of my life. in those moments the thought of school sickens me and i swear i wake up every morning and the first thing i say is "i freaken hate school".

i doubt that, tbh

no such thing as hard highschool work, unless the subject has 'college' or 'university' stuck in front of it

or if it's something subjective like art/music performance/some literature

High school ****ing sucks. Now that I think about it, I can't really pinpoint exactly why, but I do know that college is way better by comparison.

But college ****ing sucks, too. I don't know how anybody survives any Engineering major. I'm literally tearing my hair out with stress, having lapses of insanity, despising all my professors, etc. **** it, I'm even hearing things that aren't actually there. It's okay, though, everybody else is in the same boat.

Beer and weekends (among other stuff) are the only things keeping me alive and not locked away in a mental asylum at this point.

It's not all bad, though. I recently scored the highest in my class on my circuits exam! With a solid 61%!

Most people in my high school would probably say it's hard, too. I'm just not as whiny as the usual teenager.
Yeah, but you go to a stupid-average-america-sheeple school. I go to a BETTER BEST ELITE SMARTER-THAN-YOU genius school. You'd whine too if your tiny asian brain was exposed to a fraction of the work I have to do.

I happen to know star king goes to a pretty decent high school, so wut.

Also, as someone who went to a very good public high school in the country, high school is easy.

High school was rather easy, but it is a lot of mundane busy work, which I often didn't feel like doing. There's not nearly as much work to do in college, but holy god is it way harder.

Highschool was far more time consuming and in my opinion much harder to get good grades in. In college I worked half as much and did twice as well. Having all your classes graded on a curve changes the dynamics of studying. Its hard to always get >90, but doing better then the curve is easy, because most people are dumb.

In college you also get to choose your classes, so your work tends to be in subjects you are better at.

Good point about the curves. I guess college for me is super hard (it ain't easy stomaching 70-80s on exams), but I'm doing pretty well because everything gets curved 20 points...

Stress stress stress because you're not getting the 90s you're used to, but it all works out at the end of the semester. The trick is not letting the poor grades get to your head and to realize that while you may be getting Cs, it's better than the rest of the class who is getting Fs.

yup

I disagree. 10x as much work and way harder for me.

Although I'm pretty down on school right now due to a few really bad weeks in a row. Remind me not to do 2 Math and 2 CS classes in a quarter again.

Gud one. I live in Fairfax County, which happens to be one of the best counties in the nation in education.

Public school kids LMFAO you guys don't even work, you just abuse controlled substances and have unprotected intercourse while using rough language and preparing for trade school.

Even if your generalizations were valid, clubba went to a selective admission High School (and the best High School in the nation) and said it was easy. youcantexplainthat.jpg

US News & World Report/Newsweek did one.

I looked up both of those and couldn't find anything significant >_>. Battlecow's was in Newsweek's 20 elite schools.

"best" and "hardest" are different things.

Also Ballin' belongs in a trade school with the plebeians. You heard it here first.

Psh, their school draws from the affluent families of Northern Virginia and has one of the most talented faculties in the area. DOESN'T SOUND TOO HARD TO ME.

Plus I don't need proof, I'm just saying that my high school is really hard, and if y'all went here and tried to get A's you'd think it was hard as well.

I'm not remotely serious, by the way. Having a hard time in high school prolly just means I'm stupid.

probably would make more money than getting a "real" college degree.

plus with all the mario games i've played i'm sure i'd be an excellent plumber

i'd probably have to work on throwing fireballs, but my mad hops would certainly come in handy whenever i have to jump over a giant turtle creature

clearly Kero needs to go around filming everyone's high school to determine which one is truly best.

I'd love to get involved in this convo but I live in a peice of **** town where me and my small group of friends are the only ones who prefer dueling and smash over smoking pot all day. You'd have to be a total moron not to get straight a's in my school.

Kangaroos for the win. Let's go.

What stood out to ME is "dueling and smash", as in two separate things. Does that mean a classic shoot-off? A swordfight? Yu-gi-oh?

Smash is competitive and awesome. You can accomplish things that are significant to you and you can push your own limits.

Pot sucks tho. Cool people + Pot = totally uninteresting people.

In my experience at least. Libertarians are probably immune to its effects.

hey everyone,

So, in my film class, we have a full year documentary assaignment that needs to be around twenty minutes long.. No surprise, im doing mine on smash.
But heres the deal.
i dont want to do the documentary on Supersmashbros. as a whole. i mean, ill have a lot of information about alot of the game, but im not going into things like the different stages of career mode, or the best way to beat your avarage fox. I may want to primarliy focus on the actualy players themselves; why they love smash, blah blah blah. i want to kind of show that everyone who loves a video game isnt allways your classic nerd with glasses (no offense to kids who wear glasses.. im simply trying to make a point). I want to show that a bunch of different kind of kids with different hobbies and different lifestyles can all be connected through a common game.
But i dont totally love this idea.
If anyone has any other cool ideas that i can focus on, or any suggestions/concerns let me know.

Also, im going to Apex. this will allow me to really show what smash players are like outside of their appearence on the internet. i also plan on interviewing a variety of kids from a variety of places to get a more broad perspective of the game.

..i dont know if that gives you any more thoughts or..

Most importantly, if you have any ideas please post below. I could really use them.

Also, if you want to feature in it, maybee like playing me in an online match and ill show parts of it, of if your going to apex or want an interview or something let me know! theres a bunch of options.
cool.

Thanks alot everyone.
I dont like this idea and I would punch you in the face if you were doing this next to me
