Just started to use marth, any tricks, tips or other things I should know?

I just started to use marth as he plays so much like my main: captain falcon.
O know the ways their attacks are used are quite different, but the way they move with their attacks are quite similar. (look at the falcon board for a small explaination in another topic of mine)
as we all know, falcon isn't the best character, so I thought having a second main wouldn't be a bad idea. although I will always keep falcon as my first main, I'm willing to try and get good/above average with marth.
