ugghhhh...

I enjoyed seeing a lot of you guys here. Especially Jazz, Geno, Dark and all of Kansas City, TJ, etc.

But this was seriously the most grinding tourny I've had since, like...mlg chicago 2005. I dont know what it was, but I seriously hated everything about how I played that whole weekend. I'm pretty embarrassed about how I played as a whole, and I'll make sure it never happens again. Good job to everyone I played though!

Congrats to everyone, and we will work with whoever runs the future stl tournies to make sure splits/pools are never run so suspect again. (two hours to eliminate eight people is not just dumb, but loooooong)

Im taking a break from smash until the end of the month or whenever my next tourny is. I really burnt out with three days straight practice before the tourny date x_x

I want to see those Zig vs. N64 Pika dittos.

I'm glad I got to play some big names. I won a doubles game against Darkrain, even though he used Fox. And I won a game against Tink in pools, even though he was sandbagging. So what if I did horrible in the tournament; it was still a worthwile experience.

Thanks to all who showed up.

Edit:

B & B, I hope you guys are reading this:

1) If a big name out-of-stater like Darkrain or Tink shows up, don't listen to guys like me, LISTEN TO THEM. They know how tournaments work.

2) There was no need to do pools, we could have just done a 32-man bracket. Pools are not a vital part of the tourney experience; people can still do friendlies outside of the tournament.

3) If we do have pools, they should be 3 stocks from now on. They took FOREVER.

4) Take less of the prize pot, like around 20%. Prize money is what attracts out-of-staters, and they generally bring a crew of at least a few people. If you're going to have two tournaments in one day (Doubles and Singles) you'll still get as much, if not more money than you got from previous tournaments.

5) Wobbling should be BANNED, and I say this as an Ice Climbers player. It's cheap, it's lame, and it just causes too many problems with people. If anybody observing the game sees you wobbling (alternating headbutt and f-tilt) for more than 3 seconds, you should forfeit that game.
