Two things: one, the headband...it does seem masculine...and two, have you played the game? Believe it or not, there are such things as MALE Jigglypuffs
Dude all I do is play Pokémon RPGs. I'm just saying that the Jigglypuff in Melee is a female. IMO of course. Feel free to disagree.

This thread is obviously ********. When the developers make these stages they use techniques to trick poeple into believing it is a far off observant crowd. In this case they used pokemon. Drowsee and jiggly and even meowth and voltorb. Wailmers and others can be seen too. But what it means nothing. They are just low res gifs made by the developers to camoflouge the background and make it look a cheering crowd. What it means? Nothing besides the fact that a majority of smash boarders are stupid.

They probably picked jiggly as a gif because she's easy to make, is a pokemon, and with conseption pics already made of her they could get that part of the background faster.
My thoughts exactly, they're just a bunch of pictures slapped into the background to appear as a crowd (to me, it looks like the Ken Sugimori concept artwork created for the Red and Blue versions). It's not meant to be distinctable, and 99% of the players wont even notice any details, especially when actually playing the game. These images really mean nothing because they're not meant to be seen in detail, just as an amorphous blob meant to resemble an audience.

Edit: Okay, so I tripled the size of it in photoshop myself, I was wrong, there is indeed a bunch of shapes of Pokemon, but I don't think they're actual Pokemon. They appear to be balloons that cover a lot of the smaller audience. You can also see a few pokeballs and regular color shapes of balloons. So they aren't Pokemon, just balloons.
No they are all Pokemon.
Those are just Voltorbs and/or Electrodes.
Its just a stadium full of generic Pokemanz.

Well, I thought of them as Voltorbs for a second, but they don't really have any eyes, and there's a small dot on most of them that make them look more pokeball-ish. But they could be, you never know.

Calm down, he's not saying you're stupid...he's just saying that people read into these things too much sometimes...and I see the Pokemon, too, I just know it has no significance (not saying you don't know, jus' sayin' I do)...trust me, this is nowhere near as insane as the "Lucario in Clouds" Theory...someone thought they saw Lucario in the clouds during one of the Subspace videos...it was kinda funny to watch people flame him:chuckle:

Its ok. Sorry also. Partially my fault, I didn't mean it like that, I promise. BTW, I'm a she.

All those characters people are seeing, yeah, they are probably there. I'm not saying they aren't. What I am saying is that just because they show up in the background, doesn't mean they are actual playable characters in Brawl.

Those do look like Pokemon in the audience, but there are like 10 different Pokemon who look like round pink balls.
