Any tips on how to easily Jump Cancel Shine? I can normally get off at least two or three, but the most I have ever gotten off is 5 in a row. Most of the time, my thumb goes to fast and I jump, then hit down on the C-Stick, doing a drill.

So any tips?

Learning the exact timing between shines can help you. Keep your thumb movement to short bursts and don't let it slide too far. You're prolly drilling cause you bump the A button on the way past.

just like spoonyd said, you need to try to keep your thumb movements as short as possible.

and practice makes perfect.

pretty sure doing more than 2 with fox is dumb and pointless LOL... I've done 31 in a row cause I actually cared about it at one point XDD. But I really wouldn't worry about it too much unless you're just praticing it for fun with nothing better to do like I did in which case you will figure it out eventually, it's one of those things just like almost everything else that just comes easier with practice >____>. Just sayin.

If you can react out of it while doing it on someone's shield, it's not pointless, though it's hard to make the reaction do much on most characters with Fox. With Falco they are commonly more useful, seeing as how it's a lot easier to react and even react slower than one would have to with Fox to make them effective.

i'm pretty sure it's like... strictly harder to jc shine out of a shield.

And yes, if you can end a multishine series w/ something other than a ****ed up jc shine, then they can be quite useful against a shield. a double shine can also work wonders on someone shielding who just got off the edge (push them off> shinespike).
