I'm from the Netherlands (formerly Yaaay) but I lived in Japan for a year! I now go to Japan about once year for holidays.

And thanks, although I don't really know how I managed to get 4th. I'm pretty sure at least 10 people under me are actually better players than I am (including Kie, his Peach is years ahead of mine) but I guess my bracket just worked out for me xD.

Staying consistent is really a big accomplishment, so props to players like Shuton, HIDE and Ri-ma.

Karisuma 9 is on 8/19. The main event is 2on2 Waseda style crews.
How a set works:
1. Each team chooses a player to go first
2. The chosen players play a 2-stock 6min singles game
3. The remaining players also play a 2-stock 6min singles game
4. If one team won both games, they win. If each team won a game, the winning players play a 2-stock 6min singles game to tiebreak.
The sub-event is regular doubles.

Since Japan has such great internet, and since pretty much all of their online warriors have shown that they can get good results offline, I think it'd be a welcome addition. Abadango, Umeki, Kakera, takera, FILIP, and YuriAIR will provide a test to Tohoku's finest, which includes Maguro, Some, Esu, and Eim.
