Jab to rest?

I was playing luigi with his jab to upb and I was wondering if I could do it with jigglypuff.
I tried it but it only works on big and medium big characters
Just something I tried, very useful against dks and bowsers
Jab then SH rest

i don't think this would work. i tried this with both jigglypuff and luigi. luigi's jab has very little knockback so you can up-b when the opponent is on top of you. jigglypuff's jab knocks them back furthur so they could probably shield before you hit them.

Doesn't work but I greatly admire you for looking for a better rest approach ^_^ others should follow your example.
