When the tweet first came out, the Camelot angle was the first notable thing. And said angle was being shot down by some other fans saying it was something all RPGs had and that it was a reference to Monster Hunter. So some of these other GS connections is what keeps the Rathalos tweet feel like a true GS reference and not just a random coincidence.

Yeah I've played a crap ton of RPG's. That camera angle is rarely used. I've basically only seen it in Camelot games. I'm sure Camelot isn't the ONLY company to use that angle, but to say all or even most RPG's have it is complete BS.
Neat. The way you implemented the Djinn system as Isaac's Neutral B is quiet interesting. Sap's implementation itself is also pretty interesting
I was thinking it could be interesting if in the combined game they let you choose one party and play as that party the entire game until they join up. Basically, you'd be going through the same areas and dungeons, the story and characters available would just be slightly different.
Yeah true. I mean you could just choose which protagonist at the beginning then instead of the silent protagonist swapping from Isaac to Felix between games it’s just who you chose at the beginning.
8, 14, 20. All those numbers are 6 days apart, so the other possible numbers are 2 and 26. That leaves us with October 26th, November 2nd (both are Fridays) and November 26th (Monday); Nintendo could perfectly announce him any of those days. *tips tinfoil fedora*
Well I wasn't thinking Saturos and Menardi would be playable. I was thinking, at most, Alex could be playable. But yeah Saturos wouldn't work as the boss of Mercury Lighthouse and it'd be hard to stretch it for Venus as well.
I'd totally take Isaac being revealed last lol. Sure it'd be totally nerve wracking up till the final minutes of said direct, but worth it once his trailer plays. I'd say bad feeling is everything we've ever discussed for potential evidence of Isaac's inclusion meaning nothing and he's not on the base roster period. A bit dramatic but sometimes you can't help but think of the worst possible scenario every once in a while.
Yeah I was seeing what all the Djinn could use in GS and tried to interpret their powers into usable moves for Smash.
If there's no other third-parties, I think Isaac is actually a pretty likely "last reveal". Olimar and Shulk were the last reveals in the past two games.
We'd have to come up with new bosses for Felix's first half of the journey. He obviously haven't fought Tret for example, probably not the Giant Monkey or Manticore either. No Colosseum, no Kraken, maybe the tornado monster.
Eh, I don't think the Giant Monkey or Maticore really matter. Even Tret probably isn't that big of a deal, he just doesn't resolve Tret's issues. But Tret could be replaced by a different boss, the others mentioned aren't story important at all.
That's why I was proposing Alex until Sheba joins, and definitely not Saturos/Menardi. Alex balances the cast better being a Mercury and Piers doesn't come until the events of Lost Age.
My guess is that, at Venus Lighthouse you got Jenna. Maybe Felix joined a bit later, until you finally got Sheba towards Jupiter Lighthouse (or they joined together). I also get the feeling that, based on the fact that Alex was planned to be playable, Piers might've been added into the game to replace Alex.
Did you try it upon a star? Cause it makes a difference.
When you think about it, it'd mean he'd have started off Smash with a new first party franchise (Inklings) and then ended with one. With less newcomers this cycle, you can assume there won't be as many new Nintendo parties debuting as normal, but I sure expect Sakurai would have planned more than just one in Splatoon (and it's not as if they even needed help from the ballot, they were always seen as a given with the way Splatoon blew up in popularity).

The Isaac render is pretty nice, so props to the person for putting some effort in.
However, they used a fan made emblem that is based on Dark Dawn which focuses on Matthew, not Isaac.

Great job! Needs work but I really like the look of him so far. I like the combination of the official artwork and the "Battle Scene" artwork. Definitely better looking than the existing ones like the Smashified render. Are you going to do a whole body render?

If you are truly the creator of the Isaac "leak" then you did a pretty good job. Very impressive what you could do with Cloud's render to make him look more like Isaac.
If you made this crazy good render while feeling sleepy and you weren´t even trying i can´t imagine what you would make if you took this more seriously
I have only done one Smashified back in 2015 but I think I've gotten a bit better at it, I would genuinely want to try a full body one and properly done if he doesn't get revealed for base roster or something, but of course I rather hope for his inclusion and a proper official render by Sakurai's team lmao.

I tried to make the hair color look more darker blonde, but if it still needs a fix on it let me know! I want to make it better for ya
