I followed on my other two accounts. I just want them to speed it up and get Isaac done. Once Isaac is done I'll keep asking for Lip, but otherwise I don't care that much.Getting greedy for followers, are they?
Guess I'll give them a follow to speed it up.

The evil mind that I am wants to try to make them Smashify characters without any chance to make it, to be sure that it won't hurt Isaac's chances... Is it bad?I followed on my other two accounts. Nothing really. So what's new?
They might get some when more have been added. Getting the VAs in just for Mewtwo would cost a bit, but if you've got Mewtwo, Lucas, Wolf, Ryu, Roy and Isaac to record you'll decrease the cost of each individual character making it far more viable to do.It's a shame that the DLC characters don't get real Palutena's Guidances. I am just imagining there being a "we have no info on this fighter", and then Flint comes out and explains about Adepts and Psynergy.
Not to mention, Viridi would love Isaac.
I suppose I could see that by how they've worded it.Some people thought it meant that it was a two-in-one Smashified. Ala Banjo and Kazooie as one picture.
They're a bit delusional about it too, considering they aimed for like a 1000 follower gain before June. They've only gained like 200 since that first tease...Getting greedy for followers, are they?
Guess I'll give them a follow to speed it up.

Flint's quite the talkative one so I wouldn't put it past him! So is Echo though. I always keep saying no them in the start of the GS games just to make them give huge excuses to join our party and then join in forcibly anyway! It's a shame that the DLC characters don't get real Palutena's Guidances. I am just imagining there being a "we have no info on this fighter", and then Flint comes out and explains about Adepts and Psynergy.

Most of them suck. Most of the custom moves are literally the same thing as the default Special Moves but with a minor twist to them- which is just boring and therefore not worth the time, effort and money spend on them.I think custom moves is an omission to begrudge more than Palutena codecs as far as DLC characters go.
Yes but Palutena's Guidance will be easier to add, no doubt about that. As you said, it is just a nice little easter egg.I think custom moves is an omission to begrudge more than Palutena codecs as far as DLC characters go.
The problem with Special Moves is that they are an either/or situation. The alternates are generally "more powerful but shorter lasting or have a side effect" or "less powerful but more reliable".Most of them suck. Most of the custom moves are literally the same thing as the default Special Moves but with a minor twist to them- which is just boring and therefore not worth the time, effort and money spend on them.
They said previously they'll release them at the start of June, but will release them early if they hit 3,500. Which will simply never happen, they have totally unrealistic expectations.I can barely wait to see Isaac smashified.
They wrote this: "There are only 9 days left of May! Help us reach 3,500 followers and you'll unlock the upcoming 2 characters to be #Smashified."
I know that they are planning on releasing the new characters in June 1, however, this quote makes it sound like they will only unlock them if they reach the 3.5k followers, it's a total shame when people get hungry for follows...
I really want to say that's a good piece of artwork, but that face really needs a bit of work.An homage to Smashified with Isaac. Just seeing him against that background gives me the jitters.

They need about 1200 followers to get there.... they are being a little ahead of themselves. We might as well wait until July at this rate. They're a bit delusional about it too, considering they aimed for like a 1000 follower gain before June. They've only gained like 200 since that first tease...
But that's only three elements of four covered then.Isaac's custom moves, imo, should be the same move but with a different element tacked on instead of venus.
While doing my article I actually contemplated doing something like this but it sounds like it would be difficult to balance and he would miss focus then, becoming a kind of jack-of-all-trades.But that's only three elements of four covered then.
New Moveset:
B: Venus. Summons a Venus Djinni to attack the enemy before Setting itself to Isaac.
Forward B: Mars.
Down B: Mercury.
Up B: Jupiter. Summons a Jupiter Djinni to attack enemies with gales that also push Isaac upwards.
So each special Summons the basic 1 Djinni summons. But once the Summon is finished, the Djinni goes back to Set, changing Isaac's A attacks to match the new element.
A Attacks are all Psynergy based.
Venus attacks are generally well rounded, and work best on land.
Mars attacks have the best knockback and good area of effect, but aren't ideal for racking up damage.
Mercury attacks are the weakest overall, but have the potential to freeze enemies.
Jupiter attacks offer Isaac his best aerial moves.
So you Summon a Djinni, then use its elemental Psynergies as your standard A Attacks, including aerials and Smashes.
So, with Venus set, Down A is Gaia (while Down Smash is Grand Gaia). Side A is Ragnarok and Oddyssey. Up A is Growth and Mad Growth, and basic A is a Move.
Down Aerial is Quake, which has the unique property of hitting anyone on the ground beneath Isaac, rather than those around him. Up Aerial is Spire, dropping rocks on those above him. Side Aerial is Bramble, which shoots out spiky vines in front of Isaac.
Although Isaac's weight and hitbox remain the same, his basic attacks change completely as you summon new Djinn to him and he changes class!
It would also make him the most complicated character in the game by far. While doing my article I actually contemplated doing something like this but it sounds like it would be difficult to balance and he would miss focus then, becoming a kind of jack-of-all-trades.
Yes it would! It would also make him the most complicated character in the game by far.
I don't care. It would be awesome!
They are 300 follows away from 3000... Dangerously close? The Smashified team confirmed that the next two characters are Nintendo ones. Seems like Isaac is very likely to be one of these two!

That's if they make him, which they should. They reduced the milestone to 3k, which is nice. I just hope they hit the 3k followers this week, so that we can see Isaac sooner.
They're overhyping it, obviously. They started at 2500, so if they're still 300 away, that's only 200. I assumed that "dangerously close" meant like 50, no more than 100 away, but 300? They're definitely overhyping. What's likely the case is they're trying to get as many followers as they can so they can make more ad revenue off of the Smashified they make. Which there's nothing wrong with, really, but they're pushing way too hard. They are 300 follows away from 3000... Dangerously close?
Anyway, that's good news. My guesses would be Isaac and Dixie.

Its possible it could be a sword, but I'd hope the sword wouldn't be too openly visible. I think its more likely its someone we don't know at all. Or maybe they made Isaac's armor shinier (its normally not).https://twitter.com/artsyomni/status/602532024570773504 Reflective. Swords are reflective. Isaac has a sword.
A lot of people seem to suggest that it's the ink tank from the inklings. I really don't know what this clue could mean at this point. Its possible it could be a sword, but I'd hope the sword wouldn't be too openly visible. I doubt this hint is referring to Isaac. But honestly its confusing as to WHO exactly it could refer to. We know they're both Nintendo characters, and we know Isaac is being worked on. I heard there was also files leaked that seemed to say "Ridley" on that, and there's the "Power Suit Samus" folder seen, none of which really relate to reflecting unless it means Samus's armor. It possibly is Isaac's sword, but at the same time, Isaac's sword probably wouldn't get a huge focus. Unless they want to denote him using a specific special sword from the series, in which case they probably would make it clearly visible.
I suppose, but I dunno. The thing is, Artsy Omni outright stated that he wouldn't consider Yookah Laylee because they're already got good HD up-to-date modern artwork to use anyway (plus they're brand new).A lot of people seem to suggest that it's the ink tank from the inklings.
