Do you guys think that they will choose more than one ballot character because if they don't I hope they reveal K Rool at E3 and make Isaac the ballot character.You're still right.
It's a big concert being held in celebration of 25 years of Fire Emblem, on the relative eve of If coming out in Japan I BELIEVE. Nontheless, Sakurai is confirmed to present something there. So if Roy comes out at E3 you bet I'm hoping against all Odds that Anna is getting her dues being revealed as DLC as well

She's only a merchant in Awakening (though she does host the Secret Shops in some games). Her roles vary between the FE games - for example, in the Tellius games (FE9/10), she hosts the tutorials. She's also the only character to appear in every FE game.
1) There's no real reason to think that they WILL do just one Ballot character. Even if we stick to bi-monthly release,
in June, Ryu in August, Roy in October, Wolf in December. That leaves as much of 2016 as they want for Ballot DLC.

2) Anna is the name given to a long line of a family which has identical mothers/daughters/sisters across the entire series barring ONE game who have often taken the role as narrators, guides, and shopkeepers. In FE: Awakening, One Anna is a playable character of the Trickster class which is basically a theif mixed with a cleric. Another, however, is the ultimate boss of the game and hardest boss of the series yet with the final DLC map that was made for the game: Apotheosis. In this, an Anna is the "Merchant" Class toting incredibly reinforced Spear (ranged lance) and Brave Lance ( Strikes twice as often) with capped stats and the most overpowered skill combination in the game.
Anna has been a factor of FE pretty much through the entire time of the series with a MAJOR amount of usage in Awakening as a playable character, various kinds of npcs, and the hardest boss to date.
A fan-favorite who the creators clearly have a soft spot for with an incredibly flexible arsenal in what can be used and is the single most reoccuring character of the series.... I'd say that's quite a deal!

I would love to have Anna in Smash! Her witty personality would fit in really well, although her moveset might be kind of difficult to keep different from other characters.

If he had a more dominant position in Zelda as a whole, I'd make him comparable to Anna.
But Anna has a bigger role in her series as a whole, arguably more than any single character as they often last for only a sole game.

got basically the most offensive combination of skills from their game in a moveset based on the game as a whole and not just what they did. had a slightly generic moveset for basic moves and his specials were somewhat creative interpretations of his exclusive skills.
I want Isaac to have all Venus based Psynergy on the ground with maybe some other psynergy used as aerials. Isaac would also use his sword. The site just mentions "Nintendo developers", "Intelligent Systems developers", Sakurai, Yusuke Kozaki (the artist in charge of character designs for Awakening and if), and special guests in the form of various voice actors from Awakening and if.
The word it uses to describe Sakurai's role (司会) suggests that he's the one asking the questions, and generally conducting the discussion. He's already done something like this before - he hosted the Iwata Asks for FE11, when Iwata himself was unavailable.
If he has done this before then I will lower my expectations even more!
A lot reasons on why I personally believe Roy could be revealed at E3, and if not, in a much later date than the FE Concert. The announcement would be just too closed from the entire world if ever revealed in that concert, and I think we'll get something completely different this time (basically the discussion like you said above).

I still don't agree on Dixie. If Sakurai considered her a viable candidate I think she'd be in the game already. I think K. Rool was on the short list, but wasn't included because he wasn't in Tropical Freeze. I also think Isaac is a viable contender for having been cut early in development (Dark Dawn wasn't that long ago, but no signs of another game coming and Dark Dawn's mixed reception made Isaac a low priority candidate).

Ah, I suppose you're right on that to an extent. The main issue, though, is that Dixie was both cut from Brawl, and in Tropical Freeze. Plus, as others have noted, she'd likely be an easier character to create (because she'd probably be a semiclone).
