Anyhow, I made these palette swaps just for fun when I was bored. They're not particularly good, but I tried to make them as varied as possible. Each colour is based on the first three comrades Isaac and Matthew gain.

I disagree, since Shulk's hair color is the same for all alts.
Well, if we get Isaac and Matthew (as an alt) and they get Little Mac treatment, than Isaac could have a Felix alt. On a wildest dream, Sakurai decides to work on Golden Sun and makes Felix an Isaac clone (slower, but stronger).
Colorful hair schemes work for Isaac, as the color direction for Golden Sun's characters is pretty similar with the colors used for Fire Emblem's character designs.

True, but I personally think the attire should change color for Isaac, not everything. I still have a hard time dealing with purple Ganondorf.
Yeah, also, blue hair Isaac, green hair Matthew, it would be way to weird. The only character I saw this working well was Lucina, and that's because hair colour change seems to work better on female characters, rather than on male characters imho.
Felix would be cool.

Also, about Lucina being the only character to get alts with different hair colors, I feel like that was more of a reference to how, in Awakening, you could change the color of the kids' hair depending on how you paired their parents up... even though Lucina is the only one whose hair color doesn't change, I believe? Xenoblade could do the share for Wii U (with the new game) and Golden Sun would be excellent for the handhelds (praying for a GS 4 this year, alongside with an awesome Golden Sun themed New 3DS).This should've happened already in Melee indeed...
It has saddened me to that Golden Sun got so little recognition throughout the whole series. I am really hoping for something new, and epic in proportion as the first two Golden Sun titles for GBA. We need a real solid RPG from Nintendo that isn't Fire Emblem or Pokémon, yet still appeals to it's core fanbase. Yes, there's Xenoblade, but I really miss my Golden Sun.
