No one's doubting that this can be true in certain instances; however, it's fallible to claim that this could possibly be true across the board considering the vagueness of the word "different." This discussion is going nowhere.Thats what he's saying, for instance gothic kids arent really being different if all gothic kids dress the same and act the same.
The roles are simply changing, not the definitions of the word. Not following sheep is still doing something different from what the majority does. But because the majority has changed to 'be different and not normal', the role of 'not following sheep' is becoming being a normal person. No real debate here unfortunately, just an annoying spin on an outdated phrase..I guess to further go into detail..
These days, a lot of people considering going their own ways, being different from the main crowd.
It's become a common practice and people get these ideas from other people. So, the term is 'following sheep' is beginning to be inverse. Whereas before following sheep would to be a normal individual with a normal appearance. And it's now becoming common belief that it's good to do things differently to classify themselves apart and have their own title. But, a lot of the population thinks this way so they all end up essentially 'different' but with a common idea.
