Is there a need for a secondary main

I now main Snake. Do I need a secondary to hepl against some of the very few tough match-ups Snake has, or will I do fine with just Snake? If I do need a secondary, who should I choose.

For the Snake mainers that do have secondaries, who do you use?

I use Marth, Falco or Kirby as my secondaries.

Marth and Falco = Air Control and stuff

Kirby = The surprise factor

Need? Well, not really. Snake hardly needs to counterpick. Still, it's nice to have 2 or 3 or 5 other characters to turn to if you get bored or snake isn't working. I personally find maining multiple characters to be fun, because it helps to gain insight on other movesets and forces people to change their strategy.

As for who to pick for a secondary, the best idea would probably be to watch tournament videos and such and see if anyone's use of a character inspires you. My secondaries are: olimar, toon link, wario, marth, and ike (very rarely).

I was a Meta Knight main, but I'm currently playing him and Snake about equally. I love Meta Knight, and his game is a beautiful thing. Thing is, we all know that Snake is a complete beast--and he's extremely fun to play, which is what really matters. Anyway, Meta is a great second to Snake (or the other way around) because they're both fun to play, they play incredibly differently, and they are arguably the two best characters in the game.

Bleh. That's the best idea I could think of, so that's what I currently do.

if you play the same six people every day, it helps to have a few secondaries.. they get sick of playing against snake every round haha. but brawl is serious fun anyways, switching it up is always good.
