Snake is different, but that might be an advantage to others later on, cause his style is so much different to play against him you have to change a lot of habits and learn how he works to fight him efficiently. thats what I love about him. Also the fact that he is deadly in close, far, or in the air

Am I the only one that thinks snake isn't all that hard to play? I guess getting used to him was hard, but once you get the character figured out, he's a walk in the park to win with.

But yeah, I guess his uniqueness has a lot of people turned off from him as of now. That may change in the future. I play him and Metaknight, so I guess I get the best of both worlds, played and not played >_<

Yeah for a MGS game they aren't that expensive, considering they have one of the, if not the best, plots in video games. You can easily pick up MGS: The Twin Snakes for the GameCube, which I'm sure many of you own, for less than $20. I'd definitely recommend it.

As far as my Snake playing goes, I used to be a Marth player in Melee, so the transition was tought. Especially getting adjusted to his side smash and forward aerials, which were my favorite moves to use with Marth. However, after experimenting with him for about a week, I finally realized that his aerials, tilts, and projectiles are beastly, but I need help on these "Mine" games. Any suggestions from competent Snake players?

Oh, Dias Flac! Remember me from AWN?

Ahem, he's, SLIGHTLY unpopular. At least in my experience. Just because he's not too easy to use.

I think it's just due to his steep learning curve. He can't just rely on his projectiles--or his aerials and tilts. He's not like meta-knight in the respect you're likely to win your first matches. For some reason, I didn't really have any problems picking him up, and the only characters I used beforehand (Melee) were Falco and Ice Climbers.
