Is Queens dead for Smash?

Somethings really got to happen out here. For all tourneys we have to travel to Brooklyn, Manhattan, BX, or Jersey. I know there's a lot of Queens people reppin out there, we should hook something up.

A smashfest would even due, to practice for large tourneys. Tell me what ya think.

In actuality there are plenty of Queens smashers. Melee and Brawl...you gotta check up the NY player finder thread.

In any case, since Brooklyn and Queens are close there are always spots where you can play smash, especially in Bklyn.

Rykoshet from time to time has Smashfests in an area of Bklyn near Coney Island, and Shin Bowser has smashfests in East New York at times as well (as a matter of fact if you wanna know when's the next one you can IM me for details since he doesn't have alot of room to fit everyone and usually keeps it invite only nowadays).

It just seems like NYC in general is "dead" right now for Smash.

Brooklyn/Queens Smashfests would be really awesome to attend, though. As you said, something's gotta happen...

Only 3 smashers that actually go to tournaments come to mind from queens, and one of them is always here in brooklyn anyway.

Well I know there's a good amount, but there's no real functions by me. And I try to get out to Brooklyn since my dad lives here, but its more convient close to home.
