Is it just me, or are the luigi boards more active lately?

Sure, there are some hilariously useless (and uselessly hilarious) threads around. But it seems like we're doing more lately than we have in the past.

I credit new users, like masterT and such, as well as old lurkers becoming more active members (myself included).

Is it real? Or am I just checking more?

Also, luigi is next up in character discussion, so hopefully that will give us a shot in the arm. If you're reading this and don't post often btw, please do. We obviously don't mind it when people post complete BS. We just want to hear from you. You probably have something great to say, even if you don't know it.

It's definetly more active than the time there was a post that was talking about how inactive the board is and that we should do something. I remember that thread because it's the one in which I first proposed the SIMPLE Luigi-Only WiFi Ladder (before I simplified the name, of course).

ALiAs made a good point about the monkey(s). The posting of nonsense has made the board more active and productive.

I don't know what created the large influx of new Luigi mainers, though. But whatever attracted them here or to Luigi, they should always be treated as our future. Like they are our apprentices who will someday surpass us and carry the torch. Yeah... enough of me sidelining the thread.

@AliasVee: The clue eventually led to a YouTube video of a picture. It was the words eternal under the words study....which led to "Eternal Understudy".. so the most obvious assumption from this would be Luigi. The music in the background was also the Mario theme backwards I think..

Well, Luigi boards were always funky and different than other. SUre, there was a time period when it was extremely boring here and we had 2 save this boardz with boring threadz...

Besides, we r reated the 5th best smash board character boards XD

I'm hoping for something great that allows us to add some change up to our recovery. Something like being able to cancel a green missile is but a pipe dream, though.

I'm actually proud to say it's much moar active now before I joined. When I started joining, specfically luigi boards, it was mostly revolving around WiGi, grench, locuan. But after some excessive days of the summer, people like sparked (i think he died o.o) and alias started posting which brought this board to life. And came along others like elh, Mt, pompi and crash, and honestly even though there isn't much of a difference, I still think our meta-game and board itself progressed even if it's a little

Short and sweet, i think when elh's made the wifi dittos, board became abit moar active. We just needa be active and very good testers/reppers in tourneys and we'll be golden people like Marth boards.

I originally ignored these boards entirely... but as of late they have been great. We're still not up to par with Diddy or Lucario or anything, but we at least have some useful topics and are getting to know each other a little more. Sounds like we're picking up steam.

I green missled into teh edge but did not sweet spot, bounced downwards then upb'd to swetspot the ledge...hrm...

I'm talking more like canceling it out like Sheik's needles or so. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be a reality. There's not a whole lot else I can think of that would be possibly feasible for Luigi to have that hasn't been found out already.

you see you guys are wrong , i just found a way to cancel jiggly's sing? how the answer is the edge i dont know if this is new but i told my friend i could beat his gannon with a jiggly. He happened to be recovering from below , i jumped near the edge and canceled the jump into a sing, he touched the hitbox and .... slept to his death .... i? i grabbed the edged and hopped back on. who says green missile cant be canceled?

Yay Luigi! I'm starting to try new characters, but he'll always be my main. And I'm glad I finally joined these boards, actually asking my question instead of hoping someone else will has worked a lot better =D

Hmm so I got back from my silly Washington tournament a couple hours ago. There were around 40(?) people there actually... I only played Luigi the whole way through, and won my first three rounds. First one was against Deva (crazy good link), which I won with a finger poke at 150%.... really close match, hes TOO good with Link.

Second match was against a random Zelda. I know the matchup super well because SwastikaPyle mains her and I play him pretty much every week.

Third match was a Luigi ditto against Koga, it was down to the wire but I won, I think again with Fsmash.

Lost to Jem's MK, was sent to loser's bracket where I lost to Kamaji's Snake. All in all it wasn't so bad, next time I'll place better :D Knowing the matchups are everything it seems, and since I had never played a good Snake, it didn't go so well there. And just to let you guys know, don't even try Luigi against a skilled MK, it doesn't work. I'm really pissed about this.... I was in the Loser's bracket semi finals if that gives any indication of what place I got. The MK that beat me got first, the Snake that beat me got 3rd. Not so bad I would say.

How did it go for you Chic???

reminds me of the luigi sig i made myself but just because of the render dont make any mistakes im not as good as c.hood is not even near, lking man i really feel sorry for you , we have a doubles tourney coming up and my cousin is my partner , so we were trying out some combinations , he started laughing and i asked him what happenend he told me to save the replay so i did. Wanna know whats funny? he went offstage killed both ic´s individually , killed ganon, AND using his upb crossed final destination from below ( cause i was hanging from the ledge) and actually got to the other side safe and sound....
