Is changing the Wii internal clock before you CP legal?

I've been wondering, because I'm not 100% sure about this however, alot of people (including myself actually) believe Delfino's changes are (somewhat at leaat) based on the time. The Wii internal clock might not even be set to real world time. And I know it would take time/a wiimote which most smashers don't have, but if you want to truly counterpick, I've been wondering if it would be legal to change the wii internal clock before playing on Delfino...or any other stage that is affected by the time?

That could be really helpful for players that rely on darkness like snake. Interesting question. I feel like it should be because otherwise it's just random based on what time it happens to be when you're playing.

I've also heard D3 gets more Gordos on Wednesday, I have no idea if this is true or not, but since all tourneys are on Saturday (sometimes Friday/Sunday/Monday), unless they are allowed to change the internal clock, if the Wii is true to real time with its clock, this can never be taken advantage of.

How does the game decide which clock to look at when it comes to playing Wifi? I doubt things are intentionally made more likely simply based on time, unless it's something harmless.

Many pseudo-random number generators are seeded using system time, so it might be possible that changing it could have some effect. Seems unlikely that it would change enough to be noticeable though.

I'm not sure, but I assume whoever gets the stage that the game selects over Wi-Fi also gets the time.
