Is Captain Falcon Going To Be In Smash 4?

Do you guys think Captain Falcon is going to be in Smash 4? He has always been my main and they have always made a point to have the original 12 in every game.

Yes. No more of these threads please, Jiggs, Ness and Falcon are coming back. When Luigi got revealed early it was because he was normally a secret character, but it was the Year Of Lugi, soo. Take it like this, it's like removing someone like Fox or DK. It's not happening any time soon =]

No they haven't, "original 12 must be in every game!" is purely a fanmade notion; Ness was supposed to have been cut in Melee in favor of Lucas before Mother 3's delay nixed the idea, Jigglypuff just barely made the Brawl roster, and according to the Gematsu leaker, Ness has been in talks of getting cut from Smash 4 (even if they ended up in favor of cutting Lucas, Ness was still considered).

Regardless of "original 12!", Falcon is guaranteed to come back anyway. He's the sole representative of F-Zero, and is way too popular of a Smash character to get cut. He's very likely a secret unlockable again, which when combined with the fact he has nothing to promote whatsoever, is why he hasn't been revealed yet.

....Why do you doubt he will be in the game? He was in all the previous versions and he has an original moveset. There is no reason to dispose of Captain Falcon.

No. Sakurai has stated that the Character roster has been decided at the beginning of development. He would not consider cutting characters late into development, even if that is not true. Although we know that all of the Gematsu leak is true (Except for Chrom and CM) it still could be very inaccurate on minute details.

I know, that just means the Gematsu leaker had way outdated information, which itself does not invalidate the claim that Ness was considered for being cut from Smash 4 (thus invalidating the fanmade notion that "original 12!" is infallible).
