jolly old england. hohoho.
um, agidius, i don't think a person's IQ is used like that anymore. It might have been a hundred years ago... but the definition has changed since then. I think it's just a way to compare one person's intelligence to the general population with one of those fancy normal distribution graphs.

Either way, I agree that intelligence tests are useless. ''Intelligence'' is subjective and for most intents and purposes it's a useless term. I think the only agreed definition that exists goes something along the lines of ''performing well in intelligence tests.''

There are three aspects to someone's intelligence.

1) How much you know.
2) How well you are able to learn.
3) How much you are willing to learn.
Isn't being able to apply your IQ important too? IMO someone who is just a walking encylopedia isn't smart.

^^ LOL at the character balance thing. It's cool how that works with him, but sadly, the world is FAR from balanced...

141. One point above the last test I took!
My potential mental capacity is increasing, woo!

This means that my mental age is 19.74, which rounds up to 20!

And I'm only 14. =O

IQ test only cause arguments/ problems

truth is everyone is smart

i've met SOOO many people that are absolute proof that you are wrong about this one.

You wouldn't believe how dumb some people are.

I took a real IQ test as a teenager (with a psychologist) and scored a 151. Most online tests give me about the same score.

Keep in mind that my 151 is an aggregate score. My lowest score was a 124. My highest was a 169. They average out a bunch of scores to get your one average.

And I am not in school studying science or math. I am about to complete an MA in a non-technical field, and then start my next degree, either an MBA, a MA in Counseling, or a PhD in economics/social work. I can't decide.

The PhD would put me in high paying jobs, while the MBA literally will not do a thing for me financially. The MA in counseling will pretty much just keep me where I am at in pay.
