So my friend and I were just chillin and watching Revival Of Melee 5 from 2012, where Mew2King faces Unknown.

In one of the matches, he gets absolutely rekt by Unknown. I was ecstatic because I always root for the underdog and I had never heard of Unknown before (I only recently got back into Melee again).

After the match, the video shows him getting all pissed off and whiny:

Does anyone know why he's so pissed? My friend thought it's because he was a sore loser. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt... for now. Although I can't see any reason for him being so mad other than the fact that he just got destroyed.

After Unknown lost the series, they had a rematch on Yoshi's Story:

It seems like M2K ended up advancing anyway. Does anyone know why they had the rematch in the first place?

ALSO, I know this is getting long, but there was another video of M2K vs Unknown where the description on Youtube says:
We removed the audio and parts of the video because NEC had many sponsors that do not want to be represented by the bad behavior one player displayed at the event.
Here's the video:

Does anyone know what the "bad behavior" was? After the other video I watched, I'm tempted to think that it's M2K getting all whiny again, but on the other hand I feel like it's unfair to make assumptions about someone like that.

I do hope that I'm being unfair to M2K in thinking these things. I had always respected him as a player, but it my suspicions prove to be true I don't think I will be able to respect him as a person.

Why does everyone always get so surprised about M2K's strong emotional reactions? It's the same thing so many people do when they watch sports and their team is losing, though that's even worse because it's not even them losing, just the team they associate themselves with for whatever reason. At least M2K is getting angry at something he actually participated in. I heard M2K once ruined a sofa in an act of passion. That's just the kind of passion it takes to get to the top of competitive smash.

I can understand getting mad during sports because it's frustrating - after all, you aren't in control.

But M2K was in full control, and he was totally responsible for his loss. So, in my opinion, he has no reason to be mad at anyone other than himself. Also, it's kind of childish to get mad at other people for your own shortcomings.

Well that explains a lot... and perhaps M2K was right to be angry at someone other than himself.. no wait he lied about the rules so it's all his fault. The thread stated the rules would be standard and he ignored that. I put the blame squarely on M2K. He took the rules possibly being different for granted. His fault. All he had to do was confirm them, but noooooo... How was anyone being sympathetic in that thread? He made a careless mistake and they even gave him a chance to do things the right way and he lost and then he raged for it. Terrible.

The fault lies with all parties. M2k assumed Modified DSR was in effect, but Unknown agreed to play the game before checking with the TO. This happened over 2 years ago so w/e

Unknown was possibly ignorant of the rules and decided that ignorance is bliss and he was right because he won. I see nothing wrong with the winner's evil tactics that worked. It's the other players that need to watch out for his vile schemes. For all we know, Unknown was well aware of the rules and laughing under his breath while he let M2K defeat him on an illegal stage. He's pure EVIL!

Ok... but even with that post from JuggleGuy, it doesn't explain what happened after game 4 (in the first video of this post). Or am I missing something?

Just watch the end of the match, it's fairly obvious. M2k made some technical flubs, most notably the fsmash the missed by a hair, and was frustrated at himself for making those mistakes feeling robbed of the match he should of won and - in a typical m2k manner - finds his controller to blame for the mistake.
