Something else to add:

As you can see, sonic jumps up on one of his trademark bouncy springs (the red ones with the star on them). However, this happens on isle delfino, leading me to beleive it's Sonic's up B.

I'm about 99% sure it's his up special. Along with 100% sure that his down special is the Spin Dash. I think his standard special is simply the "Spin Attack".

I'm hoping his forward special might be a blazing dash, which they could call either "Sonic Rush" or "Sonic Wildfire" for easter egg purposes.

i went to the japanese site for fun and watched the trailer. during the Mr. Resetti scene, there's a slight difference. Link hits the front of the screen just like in Melee. check it out for yourself! and it's only in the Japanese version of the trailer!

Really? I watched the japanese trailers last night, though only once, and didn't notice anything huge. I'll give it a looksee.

it was a surprise. i just noticed for a split second something blocking the screen. i looked again and paused at the right moment. it was Link hitting the screen! checked the American site...it wasn't there! thought it was big news, since the Nintendo World Trailer didn't show them flying in off in the distance and/or hitting the screen, and here's the confirmation!

Updated it, thanks. :D I also noticed Samus' Charge Beam, forward smash, and DK's "Bair". Great find.

Bumping, because I'm constantly seeing people making threads with questions that I've already answered in the first post.

I'd consider going for a sticky, but I feel like I should have more content if I did...

I might dig up and post my dissection on Snake's trailer, but, it seems silly as almost all of his is solo-action and easy to dissect. E3's footage is so well known at this point that dissecting that would probably be a waste of time.

This is a little far fetched... but perhaps this vaguely hints at Shadow being an alt. costume?..

I was only referring to a reference, not Shadow being in... We'll have a blackish costume, don't worry. Red, Yellow, and Green are all too easy, anyway(Knuckles, Tails, Gamma)

Good to see SWF back online! I was really starting to get bored there.

I had my own problems to deal with anyway, as my computer started to overheat so I spent a good hour cleaning things up, and all seems well now.

I also dissected all five of the new videos IGN has given us: a showing of the Character and Stage select screens, and matches on Delfino Plaza, Norfair, Smashville and Castle Siege. Check them out on the first page!

I might go back yet to Castle Siege and attempt to identify some of Diddy Kong and MetaKnight's moves, but I think the rest are fairly complete and offer lots of juicy info.

Thanks for the praise, but I don't know if I want to do any more... People are making tons of threads just to ask questions that I've clearly answered and it makes me sick to see the hard work go ignored. -_-

For now I'm safe anyway, as I think most of the videos I haven't touched, have that Treehouse guy narrating and explaining things anyway.
