i know my starting date was in 06 but i never really used this site

any way

ive been playing this game for a while been using captain falcon and marth as my main c. falcon being my main and me wanting marth to be my number two guy i need help

what should i know to be good with marth i know SHFFling is one thing and out of Y X or up on the control stick which is the best button to short hopping any thing else would be awesome

Y would be the best button because Y is at a good distance between B / A and X is not

it's all just preference if you ask me, but up on the control stick is horrible for short hopping.

Unless you need some seriously fast button presses, eg. SHDL with Fox.
