My friend and I are planning on making a team, so I would like to know;

Who is Ike's best partner in 2 vs. 2 battles? What are some good strategies? What stages are most beneficial? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Someone with a good grab. Grab + ~50% + Ike-FSmash = Win. Whenever the other opponent is away on the edge or something, the closer opponent can be grabbed and FSmashed.

Pit would be good Ike is slow and has strong attacks and pit is kind of fast and has a good recovery but his attacks are weak!

I would say Pit, or another fast character with a spamable projectile. If you pick a flat stage, Pit's arrows will force them to approach you.
