If you could add a stage what would it be?

I've got two really good ones...

Casino Night - from Sonic 2...I can't believe they don't have a pinball-esque stage! would be fun
Gerudo Fortress - remember all those crazy buildings in OoT's Gerudo Valley? Thatd be great, everyone loves the music.

got some others...
Gang Plank Galleon
Venus Lighthouse
Mario Galaxy stage for sure
Shooting Star Summit - from Paper Mario, think FoD but larger and 2D-ish
Corneria City - from Starfox Assault for GC, the huge city stage with the amazing music, it'd be better than flying on a ship with a hull that is far too narrow to stand on...
Bowser's Castle - My version would be arranged like the fights at the end of a castle in SMB1... sometimes an axe will appear and if you hit it, the bridge will drop out and the screen will scroll over to the "sorry the princess is in another castle" scene. Great music options for this one too.

Wow, lots of stages =/

Like a Dedede Ring, Bowser castle and Viridian Forest, with "Cut" trees and tall grass.

Bowser's castle, or Ganon's castle.

Bowser and Ganon really need stages to call their own. They could've been excellent additions for the SSE storyline also.

A Nintendo hardware stage with floating NES all the way to Wii Remotes as platforms, along with consoles!(Inspired by SMYN)

A Super Mario Galaxy stage. (Rosalina could be on the stage and do something on the stage once in a while)

A stage that warps to certain places where you catch Legendary Pokemon. (Kyogre's lair, Groudon's, Rayquaza's, etc.)

Fire Emblem stage. We need one. How about a plain field with 2 armys fighting in the background?

Personally, I feel that all of the characters who did "not" get stages...Should have their own. :(

Ganondorf: top of Ganondorf's Castle (Windwaker "or" OoT would do)

Wolf: Fortuna (SF 64)

Bowser: Bowser in the Dark World (Super Mario 64)

King Dedede: Either the wrestling ring, or the star rod pedestal

Kirby: A "Mushroomy Kingdom"-esque Green Greens.

Bowser's Castle shouldn't be hard to do with a stage builder. If we had lava, it would be better. But we can always do SMB3 Fortresses, right? :|

I'm a Pokemon nerd so I just had to add this one. I also feel that the second generation didn't get too much representation so...

Unown Ruins

This is a side-scrolling and floor-collapsing stage that takes you from one labrynth to the next. Each chamber has its own special effects and of course, a variety of Unown that aren't too fond of visitors. The ground can either break beneath your feet and send you to the chamber below, or you take the corridors that lead you upward.

Chambers

Hollow Chamber - You're basic chamber with not a lot of worries.

Dark Chamber - Pretty self explanatory. It's pitch black, and you have no idea where you're going.

Ruined Chamber - There are many platforms about, but be careful, the aren't as in shape as they used to be.

Treasure Chamber - There are many crates here, so be sure to grab all the goodies before someone else does.

Shallow Chamber - Two small platforms and a lot of water. Looks like trouble.

Danger Chamber - Do you smell a lit fuse? Just be careful where you step.

Unown Chamber - Pretty big. Also known to be a big social area for the Unown. Be prepared to duck, dive, and dodge all over the place.

I felt the need to include pictures with my suggestions.

Bowser's Castle - Mix up the styles from different Mario games

Donut Plains - Super Mario World - the clouds are platforms, but I'm sure you all could figure that out

Corneria Destroyed - StarFox Assault - would be a ground level, not on a ship in or in space

As a dkc lover I would definately like to see these stages:

Gangplank Galleon
(the coolest music in the history of gaming)

Winky's Walkway
(Pretty simple bridge layout with maybe an appearance by the frog himself?)

Barrel Cannon Canyon
(one platform in the middle, with barrel cannons all around)

Something from Galaxy to balance out the Sunshiney-ness which only serves to remind me of Brawl's long development process and lack of forethought.

Hey I love your donut plains idea. I think it would of been a better stage than the yoshi's island one....What do you think of my suggestions??? I don't remember what page there on but you should read the d@mn thing...If I wasnt lazy I would try and make pics for my ideas.

Death Egg.

Robotnik and his robots as hazards.
Mmm... That's tasty thinking right there.

I'd have to go with either the hub from Galaxy, which could work kind of like Delfino Plaza except you go to different galaxies and there are different hazards at each one, or the Sky Temple from Sonic 3 (Or Sonic 2? Can't remember).

A brilliant friend of mine had an idea for an Earthbound stage based off of the final battle with Giygas.

It'd be the stage to end all stages.

As for me... I've yet to think of something better than that.

EDIT: Except another Sonic stage. Chemical Plant Zone or Endless Mine Zone. They could find a way.

Oh, and like someone said, a Mario Galaxy stage. T_T Battlerock, Gusty Garden, something.

The fountain from the bee level in Super Mario Galaxy:
You would fight in ankle deep water and big purple flowers would float up and down.

Death Egg Zone Remastered.

1. You could go in the transporters and go upside down, and onto the ceiling. The only way to die is to be smashed off the left or right of the stage.

2. The screen will scroll, and you will be on a big platform like Final Destination with the earth in the background. The ground will break and you need to run to the left to get away.

3. The screen will scroll again, and in the background will be Eggman's Big Red Robot smashing his fingers down on the stage, like in Sonic and Knuckles.

Repeat.

Smash Bros. has given Metroid a bad name. It's made the series come off as "lolol old rock music, lava, rock music, and more lava". Frigate Orpheon isn't enough to compensate for that. If I could add one Metroid stage, I would add either Chozo Ruins (from Metroid Prime, not Zero Mission), Phendrana Drifts, Tallon Overworld/Torvus Bog (they would be pretty much the same as stages in Brawl, since they're both essentially rain forests), or SkyTown. It saddens me that there are no Metroid stages that represent the environmental beauties found in so many places in the series. Any of the aforementioned regions would make perfect stages.

If not Metroid, Kirby deserves another stage. The only new one the series got was Halberd, and with all the new music, that's certainly a problem. There's so much casual, outdoorsy music that was added to Brawl, and that doesn't fit playing on Halberd at all. Yeah, there's also Green Greens from Melee, but I'm pretty sure you can't play new music on Melee stages, can you?

I personally feel theres a great variety of stages as is but having more than one stage for the Third Party representatives would've really eased my desire for a few extra years of play; I mean, who doesn't feel weird hearing the angel island remix by Jun being played on the Green Hill Zone? >_>; It doesn't really compute to me and just acts as a teaser for another stage.

Of course having more flexibility for backgrounds in stage builder, colored tiles, scrolling mode and the option to have all the subspace backgrounds in vs form would've been nice... I mean, we did buy the game, should be up to us to have them while we smack each other with spacing tricks and the competetive desire to destroy each others minds for the next decade.

But ah well. Maybe I hope too much.
