Getting your bet back (nothing) and the 1x multiplier (2nd place) are the same thing IMO. Whatever.

Let me explain (i'm pretty sure this is how it works)

Nothing means you get your bet back (i.e. no change in your overall points)

1x means you get + 1x (i.e. you get your bet added onto your overall points)

2x means you get + 2x

-1x means you get your bet taken off your total score.

I'm pretty sure that's right.
