I take my logic and say "if a mind is a terible thing to waste, then why did you just kill one? according to logic you should have taken that mind and set it to work on astrophysics or something so as to make sure it is not wasted."

it's only a graphical error. she is actualy pulling it up from the ground and her dress gets in the way and the designers were too lazy to make her skirt move to the side or something. as for "why is there always a turnip underground from her" there is an army of turnips that she has brainwashed to be her eternal suicidal slaves by allowing her to throw them at her enemies. they tunnel through the ground following her using sonar to see where she is and she just reaches underground and grabs one.
