IC's gay restrictions

So I went to a really minature smashfest at my friends house last night and one of them finally learned the infinite chaingrab with Ice Climbers and after we all got tired of him we pretty much made this rule set specifically for ic's that my friend called "gay" since he just learned how to chaingrab. I dont even know why im posting this. This is pratically common sense but im so bored I dont care. Tell me what you think of it.

After you throw somebody with popo, nana can grab them but after that you gotta let'em go somehow and vice versa. So the whole backthrow-downthrow infinite is banned. Downthrow Fair chaingrab is fine even if you use an ice block to get them to stand up you. Also you can grab them again if they do stand up. Hobble is okay but you cant grab them again you gotta use something else. Chaingrabs that go the whole way across the stage are banned like repeated forward throws or downthrows. Nothing wrong with ice locks. So pretty much everything is good except for infinites.

You get the gist of it. Infinites are banned blah blah blah

Well it is unofficially known as the "gay" restrictions lol.

But seriously, you get grabbed and your dead. In other circumstances, you have to get hit a ton of times before you're dead. So its cheap IMO. Anyways I really dont care what people say this is just a suggestion for TO's who dont want infinites. Im not trying convince other people to agree with me.

IF the Ice Climber's were top tier because of this, you would have a more valid argument.

But they're not.

Even with the infinites, they are about 10th on the tier list. Which means there are about 9 characters that beat you down just as surely, it's just that you don't see it the same way with them.

Terrible thread. IC's infinite isn't broken at all, learn to deal with it before banning something just because you can't beat.

If I was your friend I'd feel bad. IC's infinite requires a fair amount of practice, his time was wasted all because a whiny rule.

The community at large accepts IC's infinites as fair play and putting restrictions on them generally does not go well.
