I wonder if Sakurai will have something like a 3rd party character event Tournament? See below

So now that all characters from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been revealed, I wonder if Sakurai is going to have an "All-Star 3rd party character" event tournament that's similar to to the "Bringing Back the '80s," "Hailing from the '90s," "The Year Is 200X" & "Born in the 2010s" Event Tournaments? We have more than enough characters & stages to warrant it.

I doubt it. Nintendo Versus made a tweet which announced that events would be repeated from then on, with the last fully original event tourney being from last November. It would be cool to see, but I think the Smash team is done with new events like tournaments, sadly (aside from last month's Street Fighter spirit event; dunno what that was about).

From 11/19 onwards, popular spirit events and event tourneys will return in #SmashBrosUltimate. Have fun replaying your favorites, or catch up on challenges you missed out on!
