I think this would have been a better idea for Luigi

I was playing Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and Luigi has Electric power in it. I think they should have changed Luigi a bit

Fireball would have been replaced with Thunderhand, it fuctions the same, but it would be an Electric ball rather then green fire.

Up B would be a Electric Jump Punch instead of a Fire Jump Punch, but it would be the same

Side B would do Electric damage rather then Fire damage

As if Luigi isn't weird enough already, all the new games make him seem so strange.
(Oh, is Superstar Saga a good game?? I have "partners in time".)

EDIT: 100 posts!:) Journeyman...

I would rate Superstar Saga slightly above partners in time, but that's personal preference of course~

Go Luigi Mario

Edit: I don't really want to see Luigi become electrified =( that would be weird!

lol does that mean no more fire jump punch?

THUNDER JUMP PUNCH!!!!

it would launch them in to the air and then they would get KO'd by a pikachu thunder.

the green thunder is too good.

My friend and I talk about that, we loved the Mario & Luigi RPG games. Maybe give the electricity a little extra stun when it hits? That would make UpB's even more fun.

But i'd be happy if Luigi had electricity just to look cooler.

This is why I would have liked a Luigi Guild to be named Thunderhand or Thunderstache. That sweet game is also why Luigi is known as the Green Thunder and his logo in Mario Strikers is a Thunderbolt.

Yep, Luigi should have had slightly more electrified powers in this game.

I agree but I would like him to keep his fireballs. An electric nado that hits once but temporarily stuns ur opponent would've been an amazing addition imo... just think of stunning them in mid air wen edgeguarding :O

oh that would be sweet , or it could stage spike like if his nado actually repelled people in the last blow like if a force field exploded , that would be cool i can see its uses , also electric balls ftw! with more stun the balls would be a proyectile to really fear

I think they should just change... one of his attacks or something, but not all >_> maybe the misfire should be miselectric? lol. That sounds weird.

Fire Jump Punch shouldn't be changed. The fire just fits way more. And the fireball is classic. It shouldn't be changed (only maybe a little bit buffed...).

Maybe the Luigi Cyclone could have some electrizity... like Pikachus downsmash, just weaker and should work the same as in Brawl, just with electric things.

His Fsmash should have something electric fo' sho'.
Oh yeah. Imagine this:

When Luigi does an fSmash, you could see electricity travel from his body to the tip of his fingers... and his finger stays lit up with electricity until you release the Smash in their face with a powerful thundercrack. Now THAT's Thunderhand!

The Luigi Cyclone is another move that could look so much better if it had the thunder theme. It'd behave like normal, except for two things... he'd be covered in electricity like Pika's dSmash AND close objects and enemies would be lightly pulled into him like a magnet/tornado (sort of like the vacuum effect created by Ganon's uTilt Volcano Kick).

These make you wanna touch your nipples, don't they?

I say keep the Green Fireballs, they were here first.
But the >B, ^B and vB moves should have electric animations to them.

For the longest time, before Brawl came out, I had hoped that Luigi would be given electricity powers, like he has in Superstar Saga. This would have differentiated him from Mario, even more, making him a more unique character than he already is. I really thought he would have electricity, this game around, too, seeing as he's has so many thunder/electricity references in the past few games. He's been known as the Green Lightning, his abilities in Superstar Saga, and I think I recall him having an electrical special (or maybe it was a lightning symbol? I can't remember) in Mario Strikers Charged.

I must say, I'm a little disappointed that they gave him fire again, but ah well. Such is life, eh? :p

Under Luigi's Hat
he shoudl shoto electricisty out his bum on the last aprt of teh jab combo.
chili dogs while touching electic wire = this

/failure of a humourous observation

I guess that Luigi is very well known now for his THUNDAHAND, but maybe Nintendo wanted Luigi to be old school (leaving the new school to mario, with that FLUDD contraption of his)
