Soooooo....... how's that PAL version goin'?

No but, seriously. I've played some project M on my friends Wii and really enjoy it, is there anyway what so ever to get Project M for a PAL Wii yet? I've read that it's not possible at this moment. Though I'd be happy to hear that I'm wrong.

Wops, messed up the title, sorry about that!

If you have both a PAL disc and an NTSC disc you can use the hackless method (and I can explain you how to do that if you need), otherwise you'll need to use the other method that probably can't be explained here. Just google it or ask around in IRC.

Yeah, I wouldnt hold my breath for a PAL release anytime soon. Get a ntsc-version of the game and play it instead. I imported my game at release, and after being very dissappointed at first, Project M came through and made it all worth it!

Ok thanks for the responses, I think I'll just grab a ntsc verison when I can and get myself Project M. Thanks for the offer Yoki but it'll probably take a while so I'll just google it when I can! :D

I'm interested in the hackless method actually. I'm pretty much in charge of advertising the game in France, so that would be a good thing to know to reassure paranoid people that really don't want a homebrew channel on their wiis.

Basically you just need to replace Smash Stack (the hacked custom stage that let's you boot Project M) on the SD card with the PAL version. Then use PAL Brawl to get to the Gecko menu. Switch discs to NTSC Brawl then select 'Launch game'.

As for switching the Smash Stacks, that's a bit trickier. I don't remember the exact directory so can anyone remind me where it's stored?

Actually, the PAL Smash Stack needs to be in private/app/wii/RSBP/st/, RSBE is for NTSC Brawl (which is still where the PM files need to be). Otherwise, it's just like F. Blue said.
