I'm away from a TV (NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :()so I can't test this out.
But a thought came through me as I considered the dtilt wall lock in a former thread.
The idea? Well can pika wall lock his opponent by fthrowing into a wall?
In my mind it seems plausable, but I can't test it so that's for you fellow pikas to do. :)
Since it is just an idea, and I have no vid to base it on be creative or mindful of the angles, distance, damage when performing the throws.:p

IF it works you could stay in one place.
I'm worried about characters hitting the wall and sliding, becoming ungrabable. (Perhaps the dtilt wall lock thing could help in such a scenario!!!)

BTW if it works wouldn't it be called the Continuous Wall Lock Grab? (CWLG? LOLZ)

if they slide off the wall, you could dtilt to make them stand up, but then you might as well dtilt lock. Who knows?

Lol, that was my thread you saw. <_<

What you're describing, though, is a way for Pikachu to chainthrow without moving. It kinda goes for all chainthrows, really. (Dedede loves those walls)

Though, I AM curious if we can pull a "Grab Release" chainthrow with a wall now...

Muhznit, what is a "grab release" chainthrow?
BTW sry if it was a stupid idea.
Grab release is when you hold an opponent until they break free. When they get out of the grab, they slide a certain distance. Depending on your character's grab range, and how much they slide, you may be able to grab them again. Charizard can do this to Ness if you want an example.

And no, it's not a stupid idea, it's just using a wall to assist in an already-known technique.:)

Ok, so I don't remember any damaged happeneing from the actual grab. What is the purpose of a grab release chainthrow? Mindgames?

I guess what I was wondering is if anyone could use the wall in their cg decently.

Edit: (TOTALLY off topic, an Air grab = Epic)

actually you pummel then till they get out. that is the damage. wall cgs are known, and that is why i like shadow moses. grab release wall cgs however? O.o gotta test this.

Pika?
Pikachu can not grab attack CG on a wall. The opponent can roll behind you. At the same point that the characters would get out of the f-throw, they will hit the wall, since it is more like a normal hit than grab. Also, wouldn't the d-tilt lock have the same rules too? At like 70% they would get out i would think.

Not really true neji, if the character being grabbed gets out of the animation faster than the grabber, they can roll or jump out of the way.
