I have many characters I've raised that I can mix up with, all of these guys have been raised from level 1 like they're supposed to be, and they're not quite as bad as you might think. Trick Room works very well with my team if I see the other party has only quick pokemon left. The only way my team really works well is if I switch out at the right times. Besides tyranitar DDing all of my pokemon besides hippowdon (which I already knew). My Lucario is very strong, very fast and can almost kill tyranitar in one hit with close combat. What else can you guys give me without starting my team over? I know not to use roserade or lucario or empoleon in trick room, well maybe empoleon. Half of my team is slow for trick room. What items work for you guys? Because I don't really know which items work better than others.

lolz it's all good.
Well, it's all true.

Empoleon gets killed by Earthquake.
Lucario gets killed by Earthquake.
Roserade gets killed by Ice Fang and can't take a boosted hit from Tyranitar.
Camerupt gets killed by Earthquake and Waterfall.
Hippowdon isn't killed by Tyranitar, but gets killed by Waterfall.
Dusknoir is killed by Crunch, but not killed by Gyarados.

Sad, but true. :(

Until wii meet again,

Empoleon: impish, Roserade: Lonely, Camerupt: Mild, Hippowdon: Hasty, Dusknoir: Calm, Lucario: Docile. I haven't tried for EV's :-/ They're all level 85 right now and I'm going to try and EV them now. I guess I didn't feel like taking the time for it earlier on. I know I was supposed to keep track of my EV's and ****... so I think I'll just sort of wing it and see what EVs are going to work even though that'll take a while.

Normally, I would feal like a hypocrite of sorts if I were to rate a team, seeing how I took a long break from the game and only been back at it for like a month now. However, I see alot of weeknesses in your team, as Wii4Mii pointed out.

However, it isn't just what pokemon are able to KO most of your team, but the fact that your Pokes don't support eachother that well. For example, hippowdon's sandstream can be a hindrance to dusknoir and roserade. And should those be the only one's left on your team and your opponent still has a tyranitar, then sandstream can aid your opponent easy.

One thing you need to work on is team dynamic. Have one poke in to support the other as well as hold it's own. I personally love abilities like sandstream and drizzle, but I won't have em in if they could be a hindrance.

Also, in my opinion, it is best to use EV's as early as possible. Plan out how you'll raise your pokes from the beginning. Otherwise, you'll find some of your pokemon will have odd stats that don't suit it.

If you're looking to pull off a trick room team, go for bronzong. He's just the best trick roomer there is, and can set up a good wall too. Like the people above said, this team is way too UU for competitive play. There's a reason people don't use pokemon like Camerupt very often.

EV'ing them now isn't gonna help much, if at all. Just re-breed your team and start over again. Also check out the formats, and other people RMT's..ODINS is most recent, check his out.
The reason you need to re-breed is because you may not know it but you gain EV's in every battle. Also note that you do not need to train your Pokes to 100...you can just boost them to 100 in a battle. You need to be patient and start your team all over if you want success. Any good player will take you out.;)

First of all you need to follow the format.

Secondly, if you're not going to EV train your pokemon then you must not care that much so why should we?

:yoshi: This is completely off topic, but yes, Gravity has an accuracy/evasion modifier.

I'll go into details in another thread or through PM, but Gravity does make moves more likely to hit and enemies less likely to dodge.

First... y is dusknoirs nature a neutral nature?!?!? Second I agree with wii4mii that your team falls apart to certain pokemon, and a combination of those pokemon would = **** on your face. So a suggestion would be A) test out your team on something like shoddy battle and se for yourself what weaknesses your team has. B) Pick 2 pokemon you really want for your team, then figure out what weaknesses they have. Pick your next pokemon based on that, and your 4th pokemon based on your 3rd pokemon. It may seem weird but it makes sure that your team has no glaring weaknesses (type or a dd gyrados/ttar LOL)as well as allows you to create more than one strategy for your team. For items... maybe redo your roserade as a choice scarfer (seems to work well with her insane sp attack) and maybe use leftovers on walls? All for now cuz im tired

Peace

I support using your favorites, but as everyone says, there are a lot better teams out there. This can be beaten easily.

However, in order to keep 'em, I'll suggest you to change some moves:

  1. Empoleon w/Splash Plate, ability Torrent, Moveset: Surf, Drill Peck, Ice Beam, and, Hydro Cannon.
  2. Lucario w/Fist Plate, ability Steadfast, Moveset: Close Combat, ExtremeSpeed, Psychic, and Aura Sphere.
  3. Roserade w/Big Root, ability Natural Cure, Moveset: Energy Ball, Giga Drain, ShadowBall, and Grasswhistle.
  4. Camerupt w/Flame Plate, ability SolidRock, Moveset: Eruption, Earthquake, Flamethrower, and Earth Power.
  5. Hippowdon w/Soft Sand, abilty Sand Stream, Moveset: Thunderfang, Earthquake, Crunch, and Giga Impact.
  6. Dusknoir w/Shadow Plate, ability Pressure, Moveset: Ice Punch, Shadow Punch, Trick Room, and Gravity.
As you can see I'm not sure about what items I should put on my pokemon. Anyone's input would be deeply appreciated.
The items should be changed too, you should use items like quick claw, focus sash, focus band, etc. they're a shoe in.
