I was not a big fan of how this guy used to look in Brawl as an Assist Trophy

Kinda lame, especially since I really don't like the kind of hairstyle he has.
But his SSB4 appearance on the other hand:

Kickass. His new hairstyle looks good on him and he is bulkier as well.

He looks just like he does in Punch-Out Wii.

His hair does look better in the Wii version's style. Though to be fair, the Wii game didn't come out until a year after Brawl, and his assist trophy hair DID look a lot like his NES sprite's hair style. Still a vast improvement.

And dat muscle, umph.

I absolutely love his facial expression in the Wii U version. Also is it just me or does Little Mac look like he completely switched races between the two versions? His face is much more square than it was prior.

They took inspiration from Punch-Out on Wii, which came out after Brawl. I agree, Mac does look badass.

I like how they used the proper height proportion too, and joked about it.

He used to be 4'8 on the NES version, but they retconed Mac to 5'7 on the Wii, which should make him around Mario's height.

Samus was all like, this dude is a ******. :D

I guess that the money he won from the champion title went to plastic surgery

Those legs though!

Also: Does anybody else think he looks Italian?

You better thank Next Level Games for that design, if it weren't for them, we'd be getting assist trophy designed Mac for this game.

Oh, 5'7 isn't "******" status (I hate using that word).
I'm 3'11. Take that Mac!

You know, I actually prefer his Punch Out Wii model

Smash team did a good job in his animations and expressions, but Next Level Games are KINGS at that department. Punch Out Wii had the best animations last gen imo. Plus I prefer the art style.

Mac must have been working out everyday since Brawl, he really beefed up.

I mean logically game developers will work more on a character's appearance if they have a bigger role in a game. Going from an Assist Trophy in a fighting game to a main character in their own updated game, you're gonna have people spending more time working on the model than before.
