Before i give the story let me explain my **** job

Basically i work 12 hour shifts 4 days a week for about 16-18 an hour

What i do is i pick anywhere from 2000-3000 boxes of stuff a night understand a time limit (like mario party except with physical labor)

the way the job works is the faster i pick and complete my "assignment" under the time limit the higher my "percentage" goes up

The average worker is supposed to be at or above 100% Preferred standard since i'm still in training which is like 3 months long so i dont have to be at 100% yet lol

story

i'm at like 80ish% which is good but yesterday at first i was at like 68%
so i was like F*CK how am i going to get it up and i thought for a little bit
so then i realized that when they give out assignements every once in a while they combine the small assignements with the big ones

So lets say they give out 4 assignements

10 minute assignement
12 minute assignement
5 minute assignment
54 minute assignement

You are supposed to put them all together at once so combine the time so when you finish it, it will become a whole big assignement

What i did was i entered in each assignement seperately
and basically i completed all the small ones REALLY fast and did the big one at regular time that way i completed assignements BACK to BACK with no inbetween time or bullsh*t
and i guess no one knew about this

So i did that a couple of times last night
towards the end of the night i got called into my supervisor's office so i'm thinking (omg what did i do lol)

They congratulated me for working at 122% Preferred standard i was the highest percentage worker that night

so i got a pay raise LOL now i work for like 22 dollars an hour

sorry just felt like sharing that with smashboards lolol
