i have trouble with falcon

basically i can shffl 85% of the time while standing, but when i try to do a running shffl i goes down to about 20%, im thinking its becuase i use the X button to jump instead of maybe the Y, any tips help advice

It's all about muscle memory. I noticed that my short hop consists of a quick sliding action by my thumb. Now I have trouble full hopping

It could be that you're pressing L at the wrong time,(that was my problem at first, pressing it too early) Just keep practicing though. If you think I may help you, use C-stick for your aerials. I usually only use c-stick for uair or to land a non DI'ed knee.

And no, it's not becaus you use X. Many other players, including me, SHFFL just fine using X to jump.

thanks for the advice man i guess i dont got that soft touch yet, and yeah c-stick is my best friend except for uairs where i use the pad cuz its easier for me.

and i dont recall wut video i commented but yeah no problem

im starting to use the c-stick now its just kinda wierd hitting it up, i just never used it to hit up because i use to use fox and i always seemed to charge his up a so i did it with the joystick

It takes getting used to but it is just a fact that uair with c-stick will make shffl-ing that move easier. Control stick can cause unecessary DI or a higher jump.

i heard you can charge c stick moves with the z button and i tried it and it worked wtf, why didnt i know about this. and i forgot to mention that i have only been using falcon for about a month! but im gettin there
