All of you disgust me. The mods are definitely here to keep SWF under control and maintain its integrity as a site that is rated "everyone". The fact that you'd badmouth them is pretty low. Honestly, you mod-haters all deserve to be banned.

I'm just as sarcastic as any of the mods-- and I'm sure they wouldn't care if you were sarcastic back. Just as long as you're not being an idiot about it.
And as for how they're mean? Let's say you make a stupid thread. Chances are, you'll see a few "THIS IS ********!" posts from the mods. That means the topic sucks. You need to think about what you've done, and why it's ********. They'll lock it.
You can have that, or mods that say "Please read the rules. Infractions have been issued. Thread locked."
Now tell me. Which one is more funny?

OK, this is really what its all about in a nutshell. Mods, brooms, unhomosexual/retarted proomers tell me if I'm wrong. How often do the mods "randomly" attack and critisize you? In all serious they never do. They dont get together and say hey lets go pick on (whoever) today. They even take quite a bit of spam and unfunny posting. I'm not banned yet. If you dont try too hard all the time to be funny or a kiss *** then you might even get respect from them. I know I'm not the most respected person that posts here but I've been around long enough to know that as long as your not retarted then you wont get yelled at. Just put a little thought into your post. Try to be everyones friend and dont flame people. Dont jump on the mods for jumping on you. Thats about it, just chill... its the internet.

McFox closed a thread of mine with very little in the way of fanfare; I believe I posted something about Brawl and the announcement made about third party companies not being able to make their Wii games online-compatible for a whole year (note that I did indeed misread that article and was under the impression that Brawl could be cropped in like this). McFox pointed out that Smash has always been handled by a second party company and such information was useless. I PMed McFox after the fact and promptly gave my thanks for confirming my inaccuracy and correcting it. The PM that I got back was not latticed with subliminal cracks about my lack of intellect, but one that said "Your welcome" in a nutshell. I was even given a full explanation as to why the thread was closed.
I personally don't have a problem with the mods. I will admit that I find some of their comments in poor taste and they can be rather rude at times (Mic, you can be a bit harsh), but they do their job and they do their job right. They close threads when they need to and they allot points for infractions of the rules.
